After the game?

Did he have a presser? Any post-game comments?

Just wondering, thanks to anyone who can post a link or anything...

i thought there were a few gashers, but we played good enough to win. i like the effort. one or two plays go our way and we "pop" for the win.

Some comments from the Denver Post article

Dan Hawkins
"Could we have won the football game? Sure," Colorado coach Dan Hawkins said. "I'll leave it at that. We didn't make enough plays to win the football game. That's one side of it. The other side of it, I was proud of the way we battled. That was our best effort, by far.

"We need some big plays," Hawkins said. "That comes from confidence. That comes from personnel and getting into a rhythm. Yeah, we kind of knew that coming into the season, that we're going to have to be machine-like."

Cody Hawkins
"We're going to be in good shape," said Cody Hawkins, who was 27-for-52 for 292 yards, two TDs and three interceptions. "I don't think we'll play anybody as athletic as these guys all season."

WOW! Based on Juicebox Jr.'s quote, I'd say he's in for a rude awakening.

Is it a personal attack to say Codys statement makes me think he may have been hit too many times and now should be elidgible for handicapped parking? I can think of a couple of teams that will be as athletic--but I guess that is this weeks excuse. Any poll coming on what the excuse for the loss will be after each loss each week?

OSU, MU, kNU, UT and even KU are all nearly (or more) athletic then WVU

"We'll see, he's just got to do his deal..." WTF is that crap supposed to mean?

Wait until UT beats him into the turf 60 minutes. I watched the game and all I could think was WV was supposed to be more athletic than they showed. Other than Devine, nothing really impresssed me on O. Their D didn't do anything to impress. Middle school DB's could have intercepted some of those passes.

Wow has he changed his tune. I remember after almost beating Georgia, most people were pretty proud of the team and how close they came. He was saying how Colorado football is not about coming close, but winning.

I don't really care what he spews post game, his giant smiles while shaking hands with the opposing coach after a loss where the other team turned the ball over 4 times is what is bothering me. Is he not even a little upset with how his team played? Can we get him to yell at Cody a little after the 3rd int maybe? Can we see him yell at someone for taking an awful angle or attempt a diving arm tackle? :bang:

No doubt, I've always heard he is fiery about turnovers and likes to bench a RB after a fumble. I know the qb position isn't the same, but at least chewing out the qb sometimes may not be a bad thing.

Hahaha... Thats just not Juicebox's style. Its a zen thing, ya know. I don't think you will ever see him yelling, showing emotion, or getting in kids faces.

I really think his lack of emotion is part of the problem. I don't think the SOB gives a rat's ass about winning football games or being a dominant force in the Big XII.

 oh man, most of us are going through all this anger and frustration, if nothing changes soon Bohn is going to have a largely apathetic fanbase that wont even show up for games. the loss in $$$ will hopefully force him to act or he can fall on his sword.

I don't find much positive in the fact that they handed us 4 turnovers in one half and we were still out of the game with plenty of time left in the 4th quarter.

Dan Hawkins on what happens if you don't stop gashers: "The band will be playing and it won't be yours.

"I don't think we'll play anybody as athletic as these guys all season."

Well, he's got a point. If you lose by > 50, is it really considered "playing?"

Sincerely,

Texas
