One of the positives from Thursday.

Out of the 4 fumbles for WV, only one was completely on them. The other three were forced fumbles from big hits or players going for the ball (Speedy!).

I am doing my best to find any positives at this point because being pissed all the time SUCKS!

it does suck, BUT hopefully the team will get really good at that, so that the next coach can actually put in an offense that works after the D hands them back the ball.

Speedy and McKnight and Geer and Beatty and Burton and Smart were all positives.
These Buffs did their fair share of heavy lifting to keep this game respectible into the fourth.

Speedy's long TD run punctuated by that dive to the pilon was sweet.

Unless the players give up on the coach, I'm pledged not to pile on Hawk.

Another positive: Was glad to see the throwback uniforms were gone.

And because he REALLY REALLY wants to play this year, another positive is that Kasa made his first appearance on the field.

... he wasn't doing all that good, but was drawing double teams pretty consistently...

Looking forward to him getting into the groove of things. Should be interesting tos ee if he takes time from Beatty as rush end.

They need to have Beatty on the field at all times! THat guy was a monster, played fast and aggressive. I'm sorry but Manke needs to sit...way too slow, takes horrible angles and doesnt know where to be. Would rather have Ray Polk out there making mistakes but making them while playing fast and aggressive.
