NU vs. Mizzery

Hey guys....I want your thoughts on the game tonight....who do you think wins? Close or not?

Really anxious about tonights game

Supposed to be raining. Helu out with the flu doesn't help, but I think the rain will slow Mizzou's passing game and Bo's run defense will be good enough to get the win.

But I also think that whoever wins, will be in the driver's seat to get their asses handed to them by Texas in the Big 12 Championship game.

Joel Klatt said that he thinks the opportunity is there for one of the three (KU, MU or NU) to stand up and play well enough to create the first competitive Big 12 championship game in "forever."

My general take is similar to yours, Unleash. Watching Mizz play and basically struggle against poor teams makes me wonder what they bring to the table. Granted we lost to V.Tech but we played tough the whole game and almost took it home. We've smashed points down our cupcakes throats and save for one game, Mizzou has done quite the opposite.

It shall be interesting to watch. I'm predicting 28-10 Nebraska.

Helu has a mild bug. He showed up for Tuesday's practice ready to go and the coaches told him to go home. I don't think it's serious.

Heres something ****ty for both buff and husker fans.

The combined score of Mizzou playing CU and NU the last two years is....

206-33

:wow::sad1::cry::lol:

This is like trying to pick a winner in a war between Iran and North Korea. Can they both lose?

Its at Missou so I'll give the nod to the Tigers. to be honest, I have not watched either this year.

I just want to know which MU fan gets laid out by a NU reserve when the field gets rushed. I'll go with Lance Thorell...

I'll go with Neb. I hope they demolish Mizzou, they need to be returned to the bottom half of the Big XII.

Heavy rain plays a huge factor in this game. Even if Helu isn't 100%, Burkhead is capable. NU plays ball control, run game and is stout against the run. Mizz makes a couple of big pass plays but NU wins by 3.

we'll find out if both teams are for real, I am excited for this game.

I'm nervous. We'll see if NU's pass defense is for real or if the competition has just been that weak.

Also, we'll see if Gabbert is the second coming of Tebow . . . as he has seemingly been anointed by the press. (no knock on Gabbert, I think he is going to be a good one. He just hasn't even faced a mediocre defense yet.)

Huskers by 7. I hope.

I'd like to see Mizzou beat NU... But, I think the Fuskers will pull out the win in a close game. Should be good.

mmmm. don't care. hope they both look good and get the BIG XII lots of ratings.

I think this one goes to the hucksters, close though 30 to 27 or 30 to 24 something like that.

I love Joel but that's a load of stinky warm crap!! If Mizzou couldn't make it a competitive CCG the last two years with all their talent then there is no way that any of the three contenders (KU, NU or MU), who are all worse that Mizzou was last year, are going to come close.

Face it, the B12 champ is most likely the winner of the RRSO next week. Same story different year...(I hate that :sad2:)

I think NU is the better team on a neutral field, but Thursday night games are nasty for road teams historically. I still think NU wins close, and they are who I picked with a friendly contest my friend and I do weekly. So either way I win, if Nebraska wins, I win a point in the contest, and if they lose...I still win!

I can't believe I'm asking this, but which sports bars in the south metro area (Denver) host Nebraska watch parties? I'm looking to watch it somewhere, and most of the places I've called sound like they will have the volume on baseball.

FIFY :smile2:
