Ringo had a very interesting post on the Scout message board today regarding a conversation he just had with Coach Bzdelik.

- 2010 recruiting targets are a swingman and a power forward. Don't expect another point guard as he's happy with Tomlinson & Sharpe.

- We should sign these 2 during the early signing period (Nov. 11th-18th)

- Crawford is graduating this year and may not stick around for his 4th year of eligibility

- If Crawford leaves, Bzdelik will recruit a 3rd player in the spring signing period (April 14th - May 19th) My guess is another front court player

...that would suck if he shows marked improvement, and Crawford decides to leave after this year. I'm expecting big things again from his this year, just like what I was expecting from his last year.

Bz is definitely considering a JC big man for one of the two open schollies. As he put it at one of the preseason events, "It's Time to Win."

It would be a bummer if Crawford left without using all his eligibility, but I can understand if he wants to get started with law school.

no way you're going to play DI bball and go to first year law school. CU is also a really good law school, so who knows if he's able to get in - don't know anything about his academic aptitude. Best of luck to him in whatever he wants to do, but I hope he finishes his eligibility.
