"he was the difference maker, CU found their quarterback, it's unfortunate they picked Kansas to lift his redshirt and then reiterated he was the difference maker that's what mangino said to the lawrence newspaper. he was pretty sick at avoiding the rush and keeping the play alive. when he was on the bench i remember hawkins saying that cody and hansen had the sdame 40 times. huh? how does that happen? hansen was one of the best i've seen in a lomng time at making guys miss, he seemed fast and quick last night.

Cody must have had a 20 yard head start. Or maybe they let him drive a car. Souped up golf cart atleast.

Great stuff. I never saw any blazing speed but I saw him precisely step up and away from pressure, time after time after time. Charging lineman were most often missing on their first lunges, had to recover and try again and again. In the first half, Hansen scrambled out of the pocket on two consecutive plays and, on the second one, the D-Line were gassed. They were barely chasing him. I kept thinking - do another long, slow-developing pass play, let Hansen run around then start gashing them with hard runs up the middle. KU's DLine was definitely susceptible to running themselves down.

Hansen's arm is lights out better than Cody's. he throws the ball a little too hard at times on the screens but his arm looks like that of a real QB, no offense or put downs to Cody but it is obvious his arm strength just isn't where it needs to be.

Tyler plays with more wreckless abandon. Cody plays it safe.

Tyler puts his body in harms way more than Cody does (did).
