The offensive PI was BS.

Not happy that we surrendered a 21 point lead.

KU made adjustments. We did not.

Not thrilled that we burned through all of our timeouts. Which we would have needed if not for the pick call.

Clock management was not good on the last series. We could have run another 20 seconds off of the clock. Almost cost us the game.

I still think this staff is clueless.

I think it was BS too. It should have be called twice.

Still, KU is a good offensive team, the points were gonna come. This team could have folded after KU rallied to take the lead. We just beat a ranked team after playing a damn good game in Austin. This is NOT a bad team and we are in first place in the north and control our own destiny. This is not as bad as we thought. I'm willing to give this team a chance with a new mobile QB. THIS IS A MUCH DIFFERENT COLORADO TEAM THAN THE FIRST TWO GAMES, NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE!!!

The staff was definately clueless....KU made the adjustments in the 2nd half and we stuck to the same.

How the hell does the staff not know that KU is going to fake punt as well. I was screaming the entire time once I saw the punt team run out there @ the CU 39 yard line that it's going to be a fake....sure enough it's a fake, and the team/coaches were absolutely clueless.

Yeah, pretty bad. As happy as I am with last night's win, I keep wondering if we're ever going to see this team put together a complete game. Last night was a roller coaster.

How about we shut the **** up and see the progress this team is making!?!?!? We play this game the first two weeks of the season, we get KILLED! We play this game with Cody at QB, we lose.

I think this team deserves some props and all the negative talk can be put on mute for a little bit. Damn good win, no matter what happened! We came back after KU took the lead late folks!

Agreed. Everything is puppy dogs and ice cream up in Boulder now! Cannot wait to win out the rest of the season!

I know that was a smart ass comment, but seriously, this team has shown so much more hope from where they started, they really deserve props I think. Lets give them a chance with a new QB. This is a different team now.

We're 2-4 right now. Win next week on the road and then I will be a believer. We are getting better, but holy hell, it is hard to be any worse than we were in the first couple weeks. We still have an uphill struggle to get bowl eligible.

I'll always support the players, but the coaching staff has still let them down. They did not have them prepared or have good enough of a game plan in many of our games. They don't make adjustments either. One game against an overrated team will not make me forget the other games. It was a great win, and the players deserve to be happy. Our coaches still have a lot to prove.

Very true, I just thought we would lucky to get 2 wins after the 0-2 start.

I still think we had a better game plan than most thought. Don't forget Summlers drop that would have been huge. And we put a TON of pressure on Reesing all night, he was running for his life, but is a damn good QB who can make plays. Tyler has the potential to be like that for us.

The reason for the hope is because of the QB switch that should have happened a long time ago....I still have no qualms in pointing out the same flaws that continue to hold this team back....and coaching is the #1 thing that I can see.

The potential for turning this season around lands on the shoulders of TH and his ability to make plays expands the types of things that the coaches can now do.....I will be open minded with the coaching staff to hope that they can utilize the talents on the team now

I'm just glad that Hawkins finally "got it" and that the biggest "little thing" was to get Hansen in the game. It also seemed like we utilized a lot more players and the offense was way more imaginative - maybe that's just a result of seeing some plays being made. Of course, watching Hansen scrambling around, making plays will tend to leave that impression. KSU, ISU, TA&M, MU, and we're in a bowl game. NU will be the icing. Hope is a wonderful and terrifying thing.

Whatever reasons we fans see (or don't), the team decided to use their own reasons to play better. We played a 29-minute first-half and saw the defense give up same end-of-1st-Half TD. We saw an offense go flat, hand the ball over, and the defense gave up the lead.

That was the old team, and that's still there. But for some reason, this team decided to stick around and win. Not only was Stewart's final TD a thing of sheer will-power, but so was the defense's intensity following it.

For whatever reasons I see for hope, the team obviously found its own reasons to play better.

Now, let's see 'em do it again. And again and...

Yes, huge props to the defense for puffing up after the turnovers. Holding KU to FGs saved the game.

It's not like yesterday was their first good game. They have been playing better and better each week since week 2, and that is something buff fans need to recognize and realize that this is the first time a Hawk team has been improving as the season goes on. We were really a INT away from making things really interesting late in the game in Austin too.

The offensive PI was BS.

Don't necessarily disagree with the rest of your post, but are you even a little bit serious about this?? The "receiver" came off the line and threw a block into the defender who would have been going with Meier. It was the textbook definition of offensive pass interference. The same could have been called on their first TD, although that one was less blatant.

I will agree that at that point in the game we were lucky that KU decided to run such a blatantly illegal play from the one yard line. If they line up and hand the ball to sharp they probably get 7 there....

The receiver didn't move. He just stood there. Is that illegal?
