Dumbass Griffins Big 12 power rankings

I can't argue with either one of those. Buffs have to win more games to move up farther. And I think KU is still one of the better teams in the conference, particularly in the Norte.

And how about this for a stat from the past two weeks:

The Buffaloes have allowed Texas and Kansas a total of 36 yards rushing on 47 attempts the last two weeks.

Everything about ESPN blows. This morning on ESPN Radio, Phil Steele came on to talk about the BCS standings & how basically, it'll be Florida/Alabama winner vs. Texas. Then he says, "Texas will still have to get through the Big XII Title game and that could be tough, especially if they play Nebraska, who is turning out to be a pretty good team". :wtf:

Besides UT, OSU & TT, the rankings should just stop until next week's games start sorting stuff out.

Rino, I agree. I think the D has been awesome and geting 'awesomer' over the last 3 weeks....

Here's the list with this week's games in parentheses.

1. Texas (@ Missouri)
2. Okie State (@ Baylor)
3. Texas Tech (Texas A&M)
4. Kansas (Oklahoma)
5. Oklahoma (@ Kansas)
6. Nebraska (Iowa State)
7. Missouri (Texas)
8. Kansas State (Colorado)
9. Iowa State (@ Nebraska)
10. Colorado (@ Kansas State)
11. Baylor (Okie State)
12. Texas A&M (Texas Tech)

Looking at the conference slate for this week, if we win CU's going to move up to 7 (maybe 6) in the conference power rankings. I don't have an issue with where Griffin put us this week. Kansas was a nice win, but the old saying rings true: Once is luck, twice is a trend, three in a row is a fact.

I don't know about putting a 3-3 Oklahoma team at #5, but otherwise I pretty much agree with his list.

Unless you're a Texas fan Tim Griffin's opinion means jack anyway.
