I know the game will be on at BLake Street Tavern. Anything a little more southish available? I have called places in CR and nobody has FCS. FIB? Buff92 BuffsrocK? Thoughts?

I know for sure that LoDo's (470/Quebec) gets FCS and has lots of TVs, but I don't know what time they open......and they don't seem to attract big CU crowds for whatever reason. But I'm pretty sure you could go there and ask to get it on at least 1 TV.

CB and Potts on arapahoe has tons of big tvs, but if there's a show at Fiddlers, it gets ridiculously crowded and there's no place to park. Fiddlers probably done by this time of year, no?

I called around down in the Arap-I-25 area for the WV game; JD's Bait Shop, Grand Slam, and Potts, and none of them said they would have volume for that game, all were showing the AL baseball playoffs. However, I called Finn McCool's, and they said they would show it. I was skeptical, but they did show it with volume on the big TV. You could probably count on that place if they open that early.

I'm losing my mind, was thinking of the NU-MU game when I called around. I was actually at Grand Slam for the first half of WVU game. My buddy and I were the two guys with the three kids that were running wild during the game, disrupting everyone's enjoyment. We're really not as big a pair of assholes as we probably seemed.

I haven't been in that place in years. Forgot it existed.

recently remodelled, it's pretty nice now. I like it because you can mosey over at half time to the cigar bar in the same center and grab a Partegas before the 2nd half. They have TVs there as well.

Finn's opened early for us for the Beating in the Big 12 Championship against Texas. The Owner is a CU grad

I have to coach a soccer game until about 11:45 so I was planning on watching it on TIVO and catching up to the actual game at some point. I just added the FCS today to my Comcast.

...but if the weather stays like this (please, please, please) and the games are cancelled on Saturday, I would consider sneaking out of the house to go watch it somehwere. My wife is getitng tired of my ranting and screaming at the TV during games...I do muhc better when I can talk to folks about the game.

At this point, I'm thinking of just making the trek to Blake Street, I know it will be on there, even if it is a little further to drive. I called until I blue in the face about FCS in CR, no bar/restaurant has it. I have Dish, so I'm pretty much hosed on watching it from the comfort of my own home...:sad1:

This is the CSU Denver Alumni Bar for gamedays, make sure they're not playing at the same time. I know all the managers hate CU, so they prob wont have sound.

I had lunch there recently, all the goat paraphenalia made me queasy...

If my kids' games are cancelled, then I can round up another buddy or two from up north to go down there. Would be fun to do.

If you go, I'll be there with my boy (he's seven), I'm about 6'3" and I'll have my buff gear on, I'm sure you'll be able to pick me out...

Is that an invite? If so, name you brand of beer or other goodie and it's on me.

The lucky strike in belmar will have the game on and there is rarely anybody in that place

Yep, it's a invite! Pm for my cell # and bring what you want to drink and eat-- I might make some dip and chips. I don't drink beer so you pick your poison of choice. I would say not much chance of a DUI getting back to your house, but you will probably hop your back fence and wander over anyway. Anyone else that wants to trek down to CR are welcome too. Warning-- will have one crazy dog and two crazy little girls showing off in all likelyhood, but one HD 52 inch TV might overcome that issue.:smile2:
