The whole enchilada is a joke! Think this will hurt the Jay-Frauds???

KU has the advantage of knowing they'll have a sold out arena no matter who they schedule. But considering they're an elite program, that schedule should be an embarrassment to them. Stupid, too. They should mix in 3 or 4 challenges form the big conferences since they're a lock to make the NCAA tourney and just need to make sure the team is tourney tough.

I believe most CU fans are fine with scheduling a winnable non-conference so we've got a chance at the postseason. Most of the complaints about the schedule were about how we didn't choose more interesting regional matchups for the games.

They can do that because in addition they play Memphis in St. Louis, @ UCLA, get Michigan and Cal at home, and travel to Knoxville to play Tennessee to round out their non-conference.

yeah...that schedule didn't make a whole lot of sense at first - I knew KU had to have tougher opponents. Elite teams usually play a combination of real weak softies and then some other good/great programs. The conferences have series against one another, and individual schools put the onus on them to schedule some RPI boosting games.

I'm not bemonaing our weak schedule though - we can use whatever we get to start off strong. In the coming years, if we see improvement then yes, we need to start scheduling better.

our home OOC sked sucks.

it takes some love to go see the Buffs before Christmas.
