The Shawn Watson we know and love

I can see why so many husker fans want him to replace Hawk with his great attitude. It also appears that sw learned a lot from Callahan.

And it sure seems like there's cracks starting to show down there, a few more losses and it'll be the Callahan years part duex.

My understanding is that Wats was pointing to "inexperience" as the reason for NU's woes, saying that our offense this year is much like the defense last year. When a local reporter correctly pointed out that Lee is not a new player in the system – he's been at Nebraska for two years now – Watson touched off this exchange:

“But they're playing for the first time. You don't get it. Did you play?”

(Side note, I love the 'did you play' card--basically you're a ****ing idiot, go away) :smile2:

Not at this level, the reporter responded.

“OK. Well, if you did, you would understand what I'm talking about. It takes time to develop those things. It just doesn't come natural.”

Seems like the reporter had the last laugh though...headline to his last article: "Watson: Youth is hurting the offense" The article then goes on to show how much of a tool Watson is. Watson, I don't want you back, but keep doin' what your doin'...it's like you still work for Colorado, your just tearing down from the inside out.

The most laughable part about "did you play" is.....

his Co-Worker didn't play(John Papuchis)

Mike Leach didn't play...

foot in mouth, big time.

I'm waiting for a reporter somewhere to finally have the balls to say: "Did you major in journalism? Have you ever written a newspaper or magazine article? Then you have no idea what's you're talking about and no right to criticize anything that is written."

3 different threads about Husker football and their coaches. Interesting! :wow:

Why is that interesting? We consider nebraska to be our rivals.

What I find more interesting is that a husker fan, on a CU chat site finds that intersting.
