A bowl is still a possibility

I don't often post here, but I feel like expressing my opinion. I'm as angry as anybody. Today I found myself yelling at the TV when Cody was put into the game and burying my head in my hands when we attempted a fake punt inside our own ten. Our special teams hurt us and our offense was poor. We gave up on what worked (running the ball) and put way too much pressure on Tyler Hansen to make plays. When he didn't, Hawkins conveniently entered his son into the game. That said, the defense played one hell of a game against a team that I think is legitimately good. Remember the Texas A&M team that got killed by Kansas State last week? They are handling Texas Tech 28-14 in Lubbock. I guess my point is that Kansas State could actually be very good, and that our season isn't over yet. Will it be difficult to win 4/5? Sure. But winning out at home is certainly possible, and if our offense just averages 17 ppg or so for the remainder of the season, 6 isn't quite out of reach. Am I trying to take some heat off of Hawkins? No, but lets just see how things play out.

puff. puff. pass.

i appreciate the optimism, but i've got nothing left at this point.

So you're saying there's a chance?

I understand why people aren't in the mood for optimism right now. I really believe we have talent but our coaches (specifically Hawkins) don't know how to utilize it. But all I'm saying is lets see how things play out.

Considering that:

- Juicebox has never won 4 out of 5 games since he's been at Colorado

- Juicebox has lost 12 out of our last 16 games

- Juicebox has gone 2-18 outside the state of Colorado (2/5 are on the road); and,

- Juicebox has now created a quarterback controversy that will divide the locker room

No, I don't have hope for a bowl game any more.

He has lost the team.....

Gotta Buffalo up and bareback that ****. That's the big leagues. Would you try to hit it out of the park with a donut on the bat?

Obligatory "get your horn out" post here...

As for the original topic, Dan Hawkins enshrinement in the CU athletic hall of fame is still a possibility. Suffice it to say, I am not waiting for either event...

Dan Hawkins completely lost my support today by putting Cody in the game. Name another team that brings in their backup QB to run the 2 minute offense. We have the worst special teams in the country, a bend but don't break defense, an OL that can't protect the QB or open up a hole and WRs that can't create separation, keep their feet or catch the ball.

Nevermind that this team is completely incapable of playing with emotion without 50,000 Buff fans behind them.

Also, this KSU team that you're hoping is very good, lost to Louisiana Lafayette, lost to Texas Tech by 52 (Why look at what A&M is doing to TT when we can look at what KSU did against TT?) and beat UMASS by 4.

He should be fired on Monday.

 Well we know they will lose both road games. 2-17 under his watch on the road That ends the conversation right there.

CU is at the bottom in the weaker of the 2 divisions in the big 12.

Hawk has lost 29 games in 3 and a half years, that's pathetic. It won't change. Every year you think a win like OU or WV and even KU will turn it around but the reality slaps you in the face soon after.

What a waste of 4 years.
