Visiting for TAMU.

Unclear whether or not we have offered yet.

His other official was to Minnesota. Pretty big time offer list for a late bloomer. Totally off the radar until his senior year.

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

I get a chuckle out of the differences in the reported stats for recruits. 6-4 281....6-3 250....6-3 289. Kind of a take-your-pick scenario until someone gets on campus.

We saw Bonsu as an undersized DL last year at this time (reported weight was 265). Dude showed up at 290+ and ready to play. Hope this guy has the drive and facilities to show up ready, too.

Come on, Harold, choose the BnG.

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

Saw this guy in the lobby of the Omni Interlocken this afternoon. Looks about the reported size but has the frame to put on a lot more. He came in with a bunch of other guys who I would assume to be visiting recruits. Didn't pay a lot of attention as I had other things I had to get to.

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

So with his other 2 teammates supposedly committing (ahem, and I believe i said these 3 guys looked to be having the most fun of all @ the game on Sat. :smile2:) hopefully Legania is next!

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

Rivals has a new interview and we're in pretty good shape. He got offers from Baylor and Texas Tech this week, but doesn't have much interest. Looks like a 3-way race (Minnesota, Colorado, Virginia with Minnesota in the lead).

"Minnesota, Virginia, Colorado and Florida International are the four schools that I am focused on. Those are the four that stand out most to me."

The Edna Karr standout has taken two official visits, Colorado and Minnesota.

Does he have any others planned?

"I am visiting Virginia either on December 4 or 11. I am going to firm up that date this week. I will probably take a visit to FIU as well, but I am not sure yet."

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

FIU WTF?

It is too cold in Minnesota. Virgina is too Humid. Colorado is just right.

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

You know his teammates are going to give him the full court press to come to CU...I like our chances.

Doubtful imo. If he didn't already cave in to the pressure he probably won't

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

It sounds like there is a pretty good chance that Minny fills up before Harold pops

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

GREAT NEWS!

From an interview with Legania posted in the SW Recruiting blog at ESPN this morning:

"I enjoyed the visit," said Legania. "I liked the campus and the school. With Munchie and Keenan committed, it makes a difference. Colorado is at the top and I'm not sure what I'm going to do."

CU is now his #1! Woohoo!

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

:yeahthat: Come on Munchie, get Harold in the BnG. I am more optimistic about our team and program than I have been in weeks. I believe DH will remain our coach so hoping we can build so mo with a win at ISU. Best players are getting PT and we're seeing some real playmakers make plays. This class is coming together but we could really use a guy like Harold. GO BUFFS.

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

It looks like Minny won him over on an in-home visit. He committed to Minnesota:huh:

Re: '10 LA DT Harold Legania

There's commit and there's soft commit and there's decommit.
Anything can happen in the next three months.

Harold isn't 100% committed to Minny. It sounds like he is interested in where a couple fellow La. guys are headed (Munchie, Urell Johnson, Canty etc). Call it a package deal? Hopefully. He took an official visit (not to CU) this past weekend.
