Definitely 1st string on the "All Name Team" for 2010 recruiting. :smile:

New Scout article says that Arizona and Colorado are his top 2. Unfortunately, he visits UA this weekend but he does plan on visiting Boulder.

Cabral was in Hawaii this week talking to Foi Foi and teammates about setting up visits. Sounds like one of his teammates, Tuu Lolohea (ILB), is up for taking a trip out here with him.

New Scout article up tonight. It's all about Cabral on this one.

From the article:

Longtime linebackers coach Brian Cabral serves as Foi's primary recruiting contact with the Buffs. Foi raves about his relationship with Cabral, who stopped by his high school during a recruiting trip to the islands two weeks ago.

"Some of the players on my team call me Foi Cabral Jr. now," he said.

Foi said he weighs 278 pounds and is focused on adding some weight and muscle to his frame before arriving at his future college next summer. He said Colorado is recruiting him to play defensive tackle.

"Coach Cabral came to my school like two weeks ago and said like he would really like me to play for him," he said. "Yeah, that's a big opportunity."

=================

A big word of caution: Foi only has a 2.2 GPA. Admissions are likely going to be a problem for him.

OUCH! Having lived in Hawaii, and knowing the absolute CRAP their public school system is, this will be a hard road to hoe for Foi. Let's hope for the best!

Does this mean that there will be some upcoming changes? Cabral doesn't seem to have much to do with the DL. Possibly Cabral to DC or am I just reading too much of what I want into this snippet.

You're probably reading too much into it... but I like the way you think. :thumbsup:
