WBB: Aiming for big push to end OOC schedule

Our women's team has its last 6 OOC games at home and has set a goal of sweeping through these in order to hit Big 12 play at 12-2.

"We're ready to surprise some people," senior Bianca Smith said. "Our Big 12 schedule is very appealing to us, it's not like last year where we have to play four out of the first five games against ranked opponents. This schedule ... we'll just say we like it.

"You want to have as many wins as you can trying to get to postseason. And the Big 12 is tough, so you like to get a head start or jump ahead of other teams if we can," Smith said. "If we can go into (the next road game) 12-2, that would be amazing. That would be a great boost for us."

Well, Bianca, so far you've surprised this supporter by LOSING to the Rammies at Fort Collins. I'd like to see the surprises start going in the positive direction please.
