AJ - Nice find. FYI: I changed him to "ATH" since he could be a WR, CB or S. I'm thinking probably a DB, though.

I don't think it was mentioned that Wright is teammates with Uzo-Diribe. I fully expect Wright to choose USC, but that is a factor that weighs in our favor. And Wright did say that his visit compared well with his trips to Tennessee and Washington. :fingerscrossed:

Okay, diatribe on the different "stats" for recruits. espin has "vertical jump 36.5, 40 yd dash 4.49, 20 yd shuttle 4.55, and power ball throw 36'. So, that means, he wadded up his lotto ticket and chucked it 36 feet????????

Suppose all the speculation is right. He'll end up a S at u$c. Guess our best selling point is that he could be a lock-down cb?

Still hope we land this guy.

And he can bring his lotto ticket.

I don't know the chances, but this dude looks like a guy who would not redshirt, four year starter, and a B12 All Conference player. But just an uneducated opinion. One of my top gets for this recruiting season.

He would definitely have a chance to step in here next year and compete for a spot at the very least. Losing Chappelle Brown and Ben Burney next year will be difficult to replace. I could easily see this guy going against Perkins for the other safety spot.

Just have to hope that a lot of things fall into place with other DBs committing to USC soon. That's pretty much the only scenario that gives us a chance, imo.

I thought he said he was waiting to see how things shook out with their coaching situation? I was hoping that maybe he'd open things up a bit now. Oh, well. It's not like this commit hasn't been expected since the summer.
