QUICKLY: Cory Higgins and Alec Burks are separated by 21 points, the closest 1-2 scoring punch a CU team has had since 2003-04 [David Harrison (497, 17.1 ppg) and Michel Morandais (467, 16.1 ppg.)] • CU enters the week among the nation’s best in a variety of categories: fourth nationally in FT percentage (.769), 17th in FG% (.487), 46th in steals per game (8.5), 49th in scoring offense (76.4) • CU is 10-1 at home matching the 2005- 06 season after 11 games • CU has shot 50 percent or better in three of six Big 12 games (.489 overall) • Alec Burks leads the Buffaloes in conference scoring (19.2 ppg.).

Conference losses are to Texas (90-83), at Texas Tech (78-71), Kansas (84-61) and at Oklahoma (89-84). with the exception of the KU loss, Iowa State’s other three Big 12 losses are an average of six points. The Cyclones are 9-3 at home this season under fourth-year head coach Greg McDermott (56-59, .487).

*************

Time to kill the road monkey. That ****er's been on our backs way too long.

Any chance at the postseason may be riding on the Buffs getting a win today.

Individual note: Alec Burks needs 14 points to pass Matt Bullard for 6th place on the all-time Buff freshman scoring list.

Prediction: Buffs 76 - Clones 71

:gobuffs:

be nice to get Relphorde, Dufault, Harris-Tunks into halftime none of them in foul trouble. i think we can win, but have to get a handle on Brackins inside. too many times in the last 3 years we've had close games but falter because we give up too many easy buckets in the paint down the stretch.

lot of interesting games in conference today/tonight. KU at KSU being the heavy. Baylor/UT, OSU/Missouri, etc.

says it's on ESPN360, but lot of times there's blackouts. so, i won't believe it until i see it.

edit: yup, it's on 360.

These Cyclone announcers giving the Buffs zero respect, even when they were up 12. Wish CU could eke out a win just for their reaction.

iowa state announcers: he brought his lunch pail.

Man, can we please have a breakthrough... C'mon Buffs.. Only down 5.

We can't even win games when the other team basically hands it to us.. Good grief.. Its like we are the Charlie Brown of basketball programs.

Well the good thing is that we have CU Football to look forward too..

Oh wait, I forget. CU Football is just as bad if not worse than CU Basketball..

Depressing times..
