Remember when CU almost won the Big XII tournament under Tom Miller? I think we made it to the championship game. Now, wouldn't that be a trip.

This team is SO inconsistant. Lord, please deliver us a couple of bigs!

next take care of Tech at home....and that's a 3 game win streak heading into the conf. tournament.

 a 6-10 conference record with a road victory! That would be a nice turn around from last year.

didnt get to see it but we had to have that one. officiating was bad? what was dick laker calling it?

They really weren't thaaaattttt bad. Didn't do us any favors. Bad call on a possession arrow at the end of the first half. Unbelievably bad call when Relphorde set up perfectly to draw a charge and got whistled for a block. NU got away with a lot of hand checking of our guards and some contact when Higgins et al drove to the rim. Let's just say that the Corn had nothing to complain about from the officials and they were lucky we didn't win by 30.

Good job, Buffs! What the heck has Crawford been sprinkling on his corn flakes lately?!?!?

Pure speculation on my part, since I don't pretend to have inside info .. but I wonder if Casey was the unnamed "upper classman" who Alec Burks called out in the article from Woelk last week?

If not him .. I wonder who?

And if it was him ... then maybe criticism from a frickin' freshman is what it took to light a fire under his ass.

Again ... I don't know if it was him that Alec was talking about ... but Casey has been playing lights out since then ... on both ends of the court (but especially on offense).

:woot:

14-15... some promising underclassmen... evidence of a plan, a design, a coaching system! yay for BZZZZZZZZ! yay for the players!

keep grinding at it, boys. keep recruiting. i think there is actually a sign of life in CU bb... we've only seen flashes in my lifetime--- jay humphries... chauncey... but, this feels different... like a foundation is actually being laid.

compare and contrast with the football program... man, it would be sweet to actually, maybe, possibly, someday, be competitive in hoops.

So happy for the coaching staff and the players. This needed to happen for the team to take a step forward. I will watch the replay, but it sure seems like we were in control throughout.

Have a little bit of momentum. Beat Tech on Saturday, and then they'll likely have to beat them again next week in the first round of the conference tourney, unless Okie can beat A&M in Norman on sat. If they can just win two more games that may be good enough for an NIT bid. Getting an NIT bid and breaking ground on the new practice facility in the same month. Damn it make it happen Guys!!!! :woot:

Happy for the guys and staff, they deserve to feel good about the work they have put it. Finally got some road results, good for them.

Crawford actually DUNKED. I don't think I've seen ANY of our so called "bigs" dunk all year. :woot:

whatever tourney we end up in, i want another shot at csewe, and to beat that mercilessly.

For some reason, when I tried to watch the game on ESPN360, I would get the Baylor game when I clicked on the CU game. I got the Baylor game when I clicked on Baylor, too. So, I ended up "watching" it on the ESPN gamecast.

Great game. I'm not sure what to make of Crawford. I had concluded a while back that he really didn't have the goods for Dl ball. He's still pretty awkward playing defense and has no post presence whatsoever. But, if he can drain five or six treys a game, the Buffs are going to be tough to beat (even as they get outrebounded by 20/game).

Go Bz! Go Buffs!

ESPN360 has been really bad this year with "regional blackouts" of Big XII games. it wasn't blacked out in Boulder, but i was surprised it wasn't.

That is an ape, not a monkey. There are two types of apes - great apes and lesser apes. Gibbons are the lesser apes and they look like this:

They can be distinguished from the great apes (humans, chimps, gorillas, and orangutan) using molecular biology.

Unlike apes, monkeys usually have tails and be classified as either new world or old world monkeys. All primates that are not apes, lemurs, or tarsiers are monkeys.

I was wondering if the Genus Police were going to call me out on that. In my defense, after 4 years without a road win in the Big 12 I think it's fair to say that our "monkey" transformed into a Mountain Gorilla.
