Scout is showing CU interest. Young showed well at the US Army combine in January (beginning of the Scout video on him).

I also found his junior highlights on YouTube (below). This may be a guy we hear more about down the road. Good size and great speed (10.82 100m in track). Hands look good, too.

Young picked up his first scholarship offer (North Dakota).

From the article, it sounds like he's interested in Utah and still needs to check out CU. He'll be at our 7-on-7 camp June 12. Hopefully that goes well.

Also, he now has an ESPN scouting page (nothing in it yet) that I've linked in his Profile in this thread.

How competitive has Regis been in recent years? I don't recall hearing much about them.

Not sure. I think they're building, though. Didn't they hire someone from Hawk's administrative staff?

Yes, Mark Nolan is now the HC at Regis as of Feb. 2009. Nolan spent three years at the University of Colorado, serving as Director of Recruiting and Assistant Director of Football Operations for Hawkins.

Casey has committed to North Dakota.

He would have made a great walk on for CU. All the best to him and congrats on the scholly.
