Why the B12 Players Won't Miss Colorado ...

That poll is full of gems and overall hilarity...for starters, I love that Texas players abstained from this shenaniganery from the get-go...

My favorite highlights:

If you could pick any two schools to replace Colorado and Nebraska in the Big 12, who would you pick?

Florida 7%
Alabama 5%
Miami 4%

Yup, those schools are perfect fits in the Big 12:rolling_eyes:

If you had to remove one more school from the Big 12 other than Colorado or Nebraska, who would you remove?

Iowa State 41%

-Guess the Cyclones better watch their back at the next Big 12 Tribal Council meeting...

What will you miss most about playing Nebraska?

"It's a rivalry to us, even though they probably don't think of us that way." — a Big 12 North offensive player

"Probably getting the chance to play at a prestigious school. They have a great atmosphere." — a Big 12 North defensive player

- Prestigious? Gag me...

What will you miss least about playing Nebraska?

"The corn. The Cornhuskers. I don't know what a Cornhusker is." — a Big 12 South offensive player:lol:

What will you miss most about playing Colorado?

"Nothing." — a Big 12 South defensive player

-This has to be a Texas Tech player...

I'm so sick of this. I've been to every home game for the last 7 years and I've never seen anything ANYTHING that was out of the ordinary. The 2005 game vs Nebraska was the worst thing I've seen but that was the student's section. It was uncalled for but still not as bad as the accusations. Plus most schools travel very well to folsom so I'm sure there would be video of these horrible things going on. **** you MR. annoymous. **** you in your ****ing piece of **** ass!

Someone right next to me at the 2005 game threw a full bottle and hit their QB Taylor square in the ballsack during a timeout. I haven't seen the spitting though...

Did you yell at him?

I was watching the A&M replay over the weekend and I saw an Aggy sitting in the student section. At any other school at kid would have had all sorts of things done to him but he looked completly fine. I don't know when this whole CU has bad fans thing started but it has gotten really old. During the Nebraska game now the ushers treat the home fans as hostile and throw people out that are just cheering loud. I almost got thrown out of the 2007 game because I said something like "beat the big red inbred."

these days, there seems to be as much texting, making sure their new mustard color bookstore CU 5$ tee has the sleeves rolled up just right and socialilizing in the student section as people watching the game or pursuing the path of i'm still drinking from last night drunken-ness.

That's what happens when you suck. People aren't as interested in the game. But yeah, it's disappointing. I see kids sitting down in the student section too. WTF?

It was pretty out of hand by that point. Then they kicked the students out (I stayed however becaue I wanted to see the rest of the game).

I also had some girl bust my lip open because I said Joel Klatt's last pass wasn't good (he was getting pressured by about 4 guys and threw one right to the defense). Apparently she was his best friend. She told me to take it back or she would hit me in the face. I said again that his last pass sucked, and she socked me good, luckily i couldn't really feel it at that point. I coun't stop laughing as she proceeded to keep hitting me.

We really are not that bad compared to other places like Tech. Some of it may be that we're just so close to the field. And we tend to upset a lot of teams in Folsom - many are a little scared to begin with.

True. Watching the A&M game and everytime we scored they would show the student section and half the people were texting. Maybe I'm just getting old and I'm not into posting the score on Facebook as it happens.

Hawk should find that dude and put him on scholarship - impressive accuracy.

there are always opposing fans sitting in or near our student section. We need to start beating these kids down.

They should have let the CU and shucker players fill out a questionnaire, too.

(Interesting idea for a poll.)

So it was a player from a north school that is not Nebraska that was spit upon.

Bummer. It would be OK if it was Von Miller from A&M.
The green laser pointer comes out for Okie Light.
Thanks to Kenneth Star and Buddy Jones, Baylor will get off light if they are only spit upon. They should be spat on and shat on and kicked in the balls.

If it were Kjuco, they wouldn't care - they have a towel.
If it was ISU, we're sorry. Based on uniform, we thought you were USC.
That leaves the Chickenhawks or Mizzou. Those punks deserved it.

EMAW
That horrible KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK, SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU WILDCATS! cheer
M-I-Z Z-O-U (learn how to f'ing spell your state correctly!)

The dumb "Waiving Grain" that Kansas does. Hope I never have to put up with that again once we make the move.

I was in a sea of that waiving grain last year. But it was fun to do it when we scored. You can make me out on TV doing it after one of the CU scores.

in Big 8 days, Okie State used to do that waving grain thing, too. now, the Pokes do a Tech style "Guns Up" thing.

Hand signs. Definitely the ghey hand signs. I hate em. Although I guess there's a bunch of schools in the Pac that do the same damn thing. Guh.
I won't miss the sanctimonious self proclaimed "classiest fans in America"
I won't miss the power towel, willie the wildcat and his freaking huge head.
Rock Chalk gayhawk. Nope, I won't miss that, either.

Iowa State really gets mad when you ask them if their mascot is a hawkeye.

Ya left Waco off the list.

i have a colleague of sorts who is a Baylor grad and went to grad school there who talks like BU is sort of Harvard times Yale....and begins most of his sentences with "I went to Baylor, so....." (everyone laughs at him)....and he asked me one time what CU's "hand sign" was....i thought he was talking about deaf people for about 2 minutes until he explained he was talking about that horrendous "sic'em Bears" motion they make that looks like my buddy who is a quadriplegic turning off a light switch.

Hopefully the pac12 won't have any absurd inflatable mascots, or effing cannons going off. Or a huge bass drum that is one of many claimed to be the largest in the world, or the 2nd largest ball of twine in the world, or phillips66.
