I like the blackout idea, but not against Georgia. The entire stadium wearing the other teams color would feel plain wrong! Plus, the blackout is far more effective when it is dark out. That time of year I'm guessing half the game will be played in daylight. We're going to have a few night games scheduled this season after we start rattling off wins, so we might as well save the black out.

Scout just put out their pre-season rankings and I was shocked to see them with Georgia at #3 behind only Bama and Ohio St. I thought they are a bit down, but someone really likes them. I know preseason rankings don't mean much, but 3 is crazy high. FWIW Cal is at #34, CU is at #50, Hawaii is at #86, and CSU is #101 just behind Troy. It's interesting to see some of the schools actually listed below the Buffs who they predict to go 7-5: UCLA, BYU, Okie St, Louisville, Air Force, and Houston.

i thought UGA was #21 in the coaches poll. 3 does seem a bit high.

I would doubt it. Its a home game, so its got to be ABC/Fox Sports. If it was in Georgia, then I'll bet CBS would have an option.

I don’t think we will really have a chance for a night black-out game this year. In past years Bohn has had games moved around so CU could earn more revenue from the Big 12 (last years CSU Sunday night followed by @Toledo on Friday night was a dumb money move). I really don’t see him being that flexible this year since we won’t get 50% - 80% of the revenue we earn at the end of the season. Once we start Big12 play I see Bohn making sure all the Buff home games start no earlier than 1:00pm MST, and no later than 5:00pm MST.
