I think the Buffs could surprise some teams this season and may win 7 or 8 games. My opinion is based on the talent of the players in the program and I have made the assumption that the coach won't make too many fatal decisions during games.
Nate Solder is touted as a high first round draft pick and it has been said Ryan Miller will follow in Solder's footsteps next year. If they are the only two guys who play well on the offensive line then I say no more than 4-5 wins. If one more lineman steps up (don't care which one it is) and plays well the buffs could possibly win 6. If 2 more lineman step up and play lights out maybe 7 wins. If 2 more lineman and one additional WR steps up (assuming McKnight is already there), Buffs could win 7. If the entire line gels and they ALL step up then I can see 8 wins.
Again, this is based on the assumption that the coach doesn't ruin everything.
