Final Guess for how many CU fans show up against CAL

The Athletic Department quickly sold out it's original 4,000 seat piece.

We did get an additional allottment, but I don't have those figures and you can still get seats through cubuffs.com.

My prediction is 15,000 (but then again, that might be wishful thinking).

GO BUFFS! See you all in SF next week.

I think it will be close to 10,000 fans -- got to be close to a record for a regular season road game.

Our group bought 28 tickets from Cal because CU allotment was sold out.

It's gonna way bigger than 6k. I can promise you that.

I assume that we should wear black -- Cal fans will be in gold, and I want CU fans to stick out. If others agree, we need to brainstorm ways to get the message out to CU fans going to the game.

12k

Beat CSU convincingly and it may climb over 15k as the weeklong California Stampede builds momentum and attracts more CU fans buying tickets late.

Oh heavens! It might be all of 80 degrees that day. And you're going to wear black!!! Are you out of your mind?!?!? [/sarcasm]

Oh, and I'll chime in with a prediction of 12K. I think it's going to be pretty well attended. Lots of folks have had this on their calendar for a long time.

If you dont get more then 10K, thats pretty sad...

seeing as a majority of your student body is from Cali :canabis: , that should be a strong support system. CSU had a few grand at Cal a couple years ago, I would expect the UCB vs UCB game to have 15K alums.

not as sad as a couple grand.

did you go to the UCLA game? that place was like a home game, they had a giant inflatable buffalo in the parking lot and buff fans everywhere.

At the Buff Club Luncheon Bohn just said they have already sold 7,000, so a win over csu should get things going. I'm trying to schedule a business trip that just so happens to end in San Fran on Friday night.

If CU has sold 7,000 tickets, I expect there to be at least 10,000 CU fans at the game. My group tried to buy through CU but couldn't, and ended up buying 28 tickets from Cal. I know others are in the same boat.

The Cal director of sports information will analyze photographs of the stadium and officially declare 200.

as a small note it is infinitly more likely to be in the 60's in Berkley for the game than the 80's.

oh thank goodness. Cal fans have been telling me that 80 degrees in the sun really can cause heat stroke.

What's sad is if we do get 10k there, it'll be more than you rams get at Hughes for any game this season. :smile2:

while that is a bit over the top, CSU hasn't been able to sell out the RMS recently, so talking **** abotu us not getting 10K to Cal is pretty week when you cant get 6K excluding students to denver
