i thought i read earlier in the week that one of the local cable channels (altitude?) was picking up the game? something like that....can't remember where thought i saw that.

help?

no, they are just letting all digital comcast customers watch the game for free on channel 411.

For Comcast subscribers, it sounds like it will be available on MTN only. They apparently are letting everyone have the channel for free through the weekend... So, you should be able to watch it on the MTN (411), even if you normally do not subscribe to it.

^^^ Ya beat me to it Bob.

Saturday's Colorado-Colorado State game will be available to Comcast subscribers with digital set top boxes, including those who normally cannot access The Mtn. on channel 411 (147 in Colorado Springs/Pueblo), the conference announced Tuesday.
Additionally, all of the Mountain West network's season preview weekend shows on The Mtn. will be made available, from noon Friday to noon Monday.
Officials at The Mtn. were working to get access open in Albuquerque and Salt Lake City. The games are for DirecTV subscribers, but The Mtn. is not on the Dish Network.
Although The Mtn. has HD access reserved for channel 948 for higher-tier subscribers, that station is not appearing yet on the Comcast program guide.
A test pattern could appear before Saturday, said Hayne Ellis, The Mtn.'s senior manager for communications. To be on the safe side, anyone trying to record the game should use channel 411.

Stupid ****ing MTN channel with youtube quality cameras not on my DTV. Luckily I can just go raid my sisters house who has comcast.

What is that website where you can find TV broadcasts?

Justin.tv or something? Will the MTN be on it?

Great question.

I'm catching the game at the DFW watch party, which means no DVR.

Is there a website that will have the game available for replay on Saturday night?

thanks guys. the "free" 411 is what i read/meant. just couldn't remember.

channelsurfing.net is the streaming site....but, i don't know if they publish any kind of schedule in advance. may be a day of the game thing. KOA audio is now free at the CU site, which is better than nothing. but, also good for pre and post game for out-of-staters.

You must have the ****tiest subscription package available, because its on most DTV packages.

I have ATT Uverse, and subscribe to every ****ing channel available....but no MTN to be seen anywhere.....

I feel your pain, man. You'd think that with San Diego and TCU within the MWC footprint, the U-Verse programming department would pick up the MNT, if not permanently, atleast as a promotional trial. Here's one of the customer boards on the subject. http://utalk.att.com/t5/TV-Programming/Add-The-MTN/td-p/156833/page/3
I see U-Verse is picking up a few BCS games on PPV, but CU-CSU isn't among them. W. Kentucky @ Nubs. $40/$45HD. Utah State @ Oklahoma $40/$45HD, Tenn Tech @ Arkansas $35. San Jose @ Alabama $35. UT-Martin @ Tennessee $35

Come on over to the Fox & Hound for the DFW watch party. These guys have Directv and are throwing the game up on their big screens. 636 & Skillman - SW side of the intersection.

Just looked it up, it's only included in the Premier package and some specialty sports package, so thanks for the ****tiest information possible.

Thanks for the invite, but my kid is in a soccer tourney in Plano on Saturday. I was hoping for a DVR opportunity, but such is life. How about later in the season? I would like to meet up with you guys....

So, I have basic Comcast with a digital receiver, but I'm not picking up 411 yet. Anybody getting anything?

There is also ESPN360, but they only have a few games.

It is better than PPV... just order the sports package for one month at $12 then CNX when you want. Just a phone call. When you are on the phone w/ the DTV operator, ask them for something free, they usually comply. Complain about how the local cable company offers HD for free or something.

If anyone finds the game on the internet let me know. I live in Australia and am getting up at 3:30 am hoping the game will be available online. Will be well worth the loss in sleep if we beat the livin s**t out of the rams like i think we will.

Why is it that Dish Networks, based in Denver, and operating across the USA, is the only one of the three (DirecTV and Comcast) to NOT offer the MTN?

I don't believe that Dish Network offers the MTN at all in any of their packages, regardless of where you live.
