We may never see Slick Rick in Boulder

UCLA is in for a tough year. He may not make it to see the Pac 12. He still has OOC games against Houston and Texas.

Just looking at their schedule, I see 3, maybe 4 games that they ought to win. In his third year, that's not good. He should do better. It's not like UCLA was burned to the ground when he got there.

He just needs to work on some of the little things.

He also may be very tempted to go back to his cheating ways.

It's Slick Rick- If he ain't cheating, he ain't trying.

I would love to see him make a return trip to Boulder, but I would not be sad if he pulled a nice 3-9 season and got canned.

i can't say i'm a fan of Bill Snyder but i did sort of enjoy seeing Darth step on Rick's manthing in the last couple minutes.

don't forget your power-towel!

Preseason UCLA was picked to come in 8th in the Pac 10 so them losing to the Purple Kitties is no surprise to anyone. Now, watch them be Texas in Austin. That is exactly the type of game that a Neuheisel team gets up for. Upset alert!

He's still killing it on the recruiting trail. That's what I don't like about him keeping his job. The Pac's got some great recruiters at the big programs. Makes it hard for CU to pull 1st tier talent out of the west.

If USC was still beating kids down and stealing hardware, there would be more pressure on Rick. So, he got a reprieve there.

Further, Rick is a fUCLA alum and legend, so that should buy him some more rope.

Rick may be the greatest 7 on 7 coach ever. He continues to recruit and develop skill guys. He also continues his pattern of not developing lines that can be competitive and thats what causes him to lose. By the time he left CU we were painfully thin on the O-line and D-line, same thing happened when he left Washington and it looks like the same is happening at UCLA.

He'll get another year after this season. But he will have to show something next year. As far as talent, UCLA will always have it, but UCLA has always had an issue with putting up the big money for an elite coach.
