Does anyone know if the Buffs have an out on this series with the move to the Pac 10? I certainly hope so.

End it. I have no problem playing them every few years or so. Maybe try to rotate, Air Force, Wyoming and CSU as best as possible and as scheduling permits.

It's dead. We should start playing UNLV every yr now. At least we would get to go to vegas!!!

Since we're going down to only 3 OOC games again soon, I'd like to see us get rid of anything that's making us play the same teams each & every year. Let's have some variety in the OOC slate.

i'm tired of the csu series. Does nothing for us as a program and clearly the csu fans don't think it matters either. End the nonsense and find someone else to play.

Personally, I know most here hate the Huskers, but stick them in as the annual OOC rival... keep an old tradition going and have that be CU's big time OOC game.

I have no problem with the series ending, but if they keep playing it it needs to be played in Boulder every year. No more Invesco crap, and no chance of having a road game in Ft. Collins.

Up until this game, I would have said keep it. Now, I'm a newly converted member of the anti-goat choir. This game on Saturday was awful. The atmosphere sucked. I don't appreciate being treated like I'm a suspect in a murder case when I'm at a football game. The DPD, in full riot gear - three hours BEFORE the game, didn't do much to add to the overall enjoyment of the game. Waiting 40 minutes to get into the stadium because they need to pat everybody down and don't have all the entrances open didn't help, either. Randomly closing off access ramps to the upper level sealed the deal for me. I'm convinced that the folks in Denver don't want this game there any more than we do. Let's just do everybody a favor and end it. If we can.

There is no way the corn would agree to that.

end it. ph uck the goats, lets play AF or WYO or even UNC as warmup, most big BCS schools dont see a problem with scheduling a "pre-season" warm up game any way. Unless of course you're Hackins and lose to Montana St.

END THIS SERIES NOW. Sick of csu and some of their deluisonal fans...and I quote...bvp4heisman " Congrats, your upperclassman beat our freshman, csu will win the next 5 years"

Um, excuse me dumbf**k, csu had as many upperclassmen starting as CU. This is the kind of dumb**** that makes me despise their fans.

What advantage does playing the game every year give us? If we win we won a game we should have won, CSU is rarely good enough that a win helps us much, if we lose we lost to a mid-major. It doesn't give us any advantages in terms of recruiting, we rarely recruit the same kids and even more rarely lose one we really want to CSU. It doesn't generate additional fan support for the CU program, if fact a lot of CU fans are starting to skip the game in Denver and clearly the fans CSU has are doing the same. It doesn't help CU community relations and it hurts the business community in Boulder that supports CU, they would rather have a home game at Folsom and if it brings in a few thousand out of state fans renting hotel rooms, buying meals, etc. so much the better.

All the game does is give a financial handout to CSU and let them pretend that they are big time the one out of every five times they win their superbowl.

I am generally a very objective viewpoint when it comes to CU-CSU. I am a CU fan for sure, but would like to see the State of Colorado have the best college football possible. This series doesn't further that goal.

As was stated, CU doesn't gain anything from it, and CSU needs to build up their program and fan support without "big brother" holding them down. CSU should schedule some games against Texas schools in order to further their recruiting pipelines there.

CU needs to use the spot on the schedule to either lock-in the Nebraska game as an annual OOC matchup, or to try and mix-in some of the old Big 8/12 members like Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, or even Texas A&M, etc now that they will have 9 Pac-12 games each season.

The other two spots could used for a MWC/WAC type home game to start the season (rotating between Wyoming, CSU, Air Force, New Mexico, BYU, and Hawaii), or for a big-time "neutral site" type game (CU-Michigan in Chicago?) that would raise money and exposure.

I'd be dead set against playing the fuskers every year. Been there, done that. Why give them the access to our recruiting? Craptastic idea. I really don't care who we schedule, so long as it's NOT Nebraska.

I agree. I would like a series of home/home games with other BCS teams with a low level mid-major every other year as the 7th home game.

That dudes a tool, what right does he have saying CSU will win 5 straight when they've never won more than 3 in a row against us, and we've taken 3 of the last 4 (with two of those winning by 3 TDs), and 6 of the last 8 while we were basically at rock bottom? CSU fans are delusional ****s that don't know **** about football outside that ****ty cow town.
