Fly Over

That was ****ing sweet. One of the best fly overs that I've seen. They were really low.

They were supposed to do it at the start of the game but the ceiling was too low. I had no clue they were doing it at all. So, after Al's ceremony, I heard this "kkkkkkkkkkkksssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhwwwwwwwwwwww" and looked up to see 'em shoot over. They were ****ing low. Luckily, they didn't hit the crane. lol

Given the events of the past two weeks around the Boulder area, maybe they should have been slurry bombers

Yep, Marines fly out of Buckley AFB. Not sure if they're based out of there, but I see them take off from there all the time when ever I'm in that neck of the woods. But I thought I heard on AM 760 that it was specifically a VMF/A out of Miramar that just made a long cruise out to Boulder.

F18s from Miramar. At least one of the pilots is a CU grad. I think it may have been a few actually. Usually they fly in a day or two before and talk to the ROTC folks and pay it forward kind of thing. Sort of a tradition if you go through that program.

that was the best flyover I have ever seen. They do a ton of flyovers for the Bronco games, but they never go that low. I bet a bunch of fans had to change their pants after that.

This is it, but the guy had his camera sideways, so I hope you have a laptop, Plus, it was taken from an android and, on my computer, takes for ever to load. They come over right as Ralphie is getting to the trailer.

thanks. odd that they didnt go right over the middle of the stadium.

Coming from the south, I'm willing to bet this flyover hung out over Jeffco and came in from there.

Looks like these guys may have received a pass-down from when my buddy ('95 CU grad) led the fly-over formation for the 2007 Mizzery game. He came in from over Longmont, and just as they kicked into afterburner, some jack-ass in a Cessna fromt he Longmont airport who hadn't radioed in flew in front of them and they had to break off and regroup.

I remember standing on roof on the east side radioing them in when I saw them break off. My first words were "WTF, over" and some of the pilot speak on the other side was pretty hilarious.

Anything you care to share?

Generally:
"Did you see that ****ing:asshole:!"
"Holy ****!"
"Get outta the way ****er!"

And in response to my spontaneous :wtf: "No f***ing $**t!"
Yes, we have all been trained in either proper Naval Aviation and Submarine radio communications, but it's always interesting what comes out of our mouths when the **** hits the fan.
