Just to document my savings vs. buying season tickets this year, I thought I would start this thread. Obviously, saving money was not my primary reason for dropping my tickets, but it was certainly a consideration. I'll have to dig up what my tickets would have cost this year for the true comparison, but this will be a start.
Our season tickets were in Section 108, right on the aisle between 107 and 108 approx. 30 rows up.
Game 1 - CSU
Face value of tickets purchased (each) - $125
Average amount paid per ticket - $25
Got Club Level tickets at Invesco for $25 each. The seats were on the 20 or so, but we spent most of the game inside. Too hot outside.
Game 2 - Hawaii
Face value of tickets purchased (each) - $50
Average amount paid per ticket - $9
Got tickets in Sec. 219 but ended up sitting in 214 so a group of 4 of us could all sit together.
Obviously I'm well ahead of the game so far. We'll see how things go for the rest of the season. I'll update as we go.
Game 3 - Georgia
Face value of tickets purchased (each) - $50
Amount paid per ticket - $50
Bought tickets from the box office. Ended up sitting at the top of Sec. 208. I'm convinced there is not a bad seat in Folsom as these were about as bad as they get and they were not bad at all. Sat next to a guy doing the same as me. He dropped his seats this year as well.
