Those good folks down in Columbia, South Carolina no doubt were watching the Alabama Florida game and saw us rushing the field.... they will have learned exactly what to do when the knock off an SEC team today......

Slight different between beat the defending national champ and current #1 team, and a 1-4 team. But yea, sure.

They didn't do it cause the SEC levies fines to schools (I think its like $25k or in that neighborhood) for rushing the field...and they actually enforce it

Oh, but we did rush the field in Columbia (Missouri )... it's just that nobody noticed.

According to Bohn in today's Daily Camera, CU distributed 200 tickets for the game yesterday, a vast majority to friends and family members of the players.

Just read that and that is some awful road attendance...then again, the way this team plays on the road, I can't really fault people for not making the trip to Columbia...

Count me as one of the no-shows.
Last year at this time, I was planning to go to Columbia and finish the B12 tour. I have only Ames and Columbia to go.

Then the Pac 10 Conf announcement came, which meant that getting to Ames would not happen...but I still had blocked time off at work to make the trip to Missouri.

Then after the on-field Cal disaster, I decided to stay home and bank the Mizzou funds for Hawaii 2011.

I am so very grateful not to have been anywhere near Faurolt Field last night. What a disaster.

Why would anybody be upset about us rushing the field? It could be the last time we have a win for some time with this coaching staff.
