The latest news is that the Pac-12 Divisions will be as follows:

North
Cal
Stanford
Oregon
Oregon State
Washington
Washington State

South
UCLA
USC
Arizona
Arizona State
Colorado
Utah

It also sounds like the compromise to the CA schools is going to be 5-2-2 scheduling. Basically, each team plays the 5 teams in its division every year, 2 fixed rivals from the other division, and 2 of the other 4 cross-division teams on a rotation.

USC/UCLA will be paired with Cal/Stanford for their fixed 2 games.

Would you rather have CU play Washington/Washington State every year or Oregon/Oregon State?

The Washington schools would be the softer games, but I'd rather square off with the Oregon schools. So I'll take Oregon and Washington.

If the South division lines up I'm sure Mac could start some stuff to set up a rivalry with USC if he comes back like he did with Nebraska. Might as well go for the big fish.

Washington & Wazzu-

I don't really care whether Wash or Oregon. All I can write is that DII has succeeded in his dismantling of the CU program and as a result I am sure both the Washington schools and Oregon schools are fighting over the right play us every year.

Washington(s)...I love the history we have with Washington from the '89 & '90 seasons and would like to see them regularly long term. This could turn into a very fun rivalry over the years.

I don't consider current performance as something for consideration since long-term you know that Washington will be a very strong program. Everything goes in cycles.

???? huh??

I think the option is to keep Oregon and Oregon State together and Washington and Washington State together....

Don't really care too much either way. But I've got a good buddy that lives in Oregon, so I'll say the Oregon schools.

Six of one, half dozen of the other.

I'll have stronger opinions after the roadies.

I'd like the Washington schools only because one of my good friends lives in Pullman and works for Wazzu. It would be cool to go visit him when the Buffs come to town.

Kids live in Portland, but ... Pullman is only a six hour drive, and six direct flights a day to Seattle ... go with the Washington schools.

It's a tough choice, but I say Washington. I think UDub is a fitting rival for CU (and in the immediate future it's not a bad thing to have Wazzu on the schedule!)

It's just great to be having these conversations. To go from a division with Kansas State and Iowa State to one with USC and UCLA...
