CJ and Klatt of 87.7 The Ticket will be appearing at Blake Street Tavern today and the next 3 Wednesdays from 12-3p and you have a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to the CU-Nebraska Game. You must register in person for this trip for two which includes airfare, hotel, transportation, tickets, etc....

Blake Street's new location is at 2301 Blake Street, one block north of Coors Field. For more information, please call 303-675-0505 or visit http://www.blakestreettavern.com/.

Blake Street is the official watch party location for CU Away games for the Denver Buff Club, CU Young Alums and Alumni C Club. Blake Street is also home to the CU Coaches' Luncheons on the Fridays before CU Home games.

I've been to the old location SEVERAL times and it was great. I have yet to see the new place, but will soon.

this is a bull**** post...this guy has 5 posts at Allbuffs and every post is pimping his business.
 
66 he's been told by the Mods and Admins he is more than welcome to post. BlakeSt is fellow fan, a supporter of the athletic department, and the tavern is a home for the Buffs when we are on the road. He or any of the other bar owners who host CU watch parties are more than welcome to post on AllBuffs from time to time.
 
Yep Blake Street Tavern is an awesome Oasis of support for the Univerity of Colorado. BlakeStBuff only announces really cool promos occasionally. The promotional ad on the radio is hilarious with the trip winners walking around with crickets chiriping in the background saying "awesome we are in Lincoln."

He has our permission, he is posting information of interest to Buff fans, and he has been treated extremely rudely in the past every time he posts here. Perhaps if he wasn't he might have posted about something else. He might have even become a club member in return for some polite treatment. So far we have no way of knowing, since he's yet to be treated politely on this board. I wouldn't spend $15 to get attacked as a spammer either.

I never said you had to listen to me, just giving my opinion on the matter. I don't think paying $15 for some advertising is too much to ask.

BTW, for the record I never attacked him or called him a spammer. And if he were a member of the Allbuffs community, even a non-paying one, he would not get attacked. But when every post of his is pimping his business, I can see how some may think that. He doesn't participate here, he just drops in to post his latest promotions.

If that's cool with you guys, I don't care. But there are two sides of this issue.

Would it be nice if he did? Yes. Do I blame him for not doing it, considering the reception he has consistently gotten here? No.
 
I'll be at Blake Street on Saturday. May as well drink my sorrows away with fellow Buff fans. Am excited to see the new digs.

And BlakeStBuff is fine by me. I know he's a TRUE CU fan & he gave me free beer on the bus up to the CU/CSU basketball game up in Ft. Fun a couple years back. Good guy.
 
Better rig it so one of those Coloradans for Nubraska doesn't win it.

Is the Blake Street Tavern the local Husky (UW - Seattle) hangout?

If so I'll be visiting.... just wanted to confirm...

I've seen it posted on UW alum sites....

Not sure, I thought it was MichSt,CU,Georgia

But, a great place to watch games. Good food & beer
