Coach Cabral

I am making my first post here as the thought of Callhoun being selected over Cabral upsets me. I feel Cabral has earned a chance to coach this team for a minimum of 2 years. This man has given everything to this program. Not only does he represent this team with class and passion, he represents the tradition of the school. Tradition that this school needs. He has produced some quality LB's over the years. And he has proved he can win a game as Head Coach.

Why in the hell would we not let him get his chance?

Given the choice between Calhoun and Cabral, I think most people here would go with Cabral. You're preaching to the choir.

Obviously Cabral is an outstanding coach, but another upside is that he would command a lower salary and a minimal buyout if things didn't work out. I wouldn't complain if he were hired.

i think BC has earned a legit (not token) interview....but, let's see where we are Sat. morning. I think how he handles the current assistants and assembling his own staff would have to be a question he needs to address in the interview process. It's clear the team plays with more fire, passion and is 2-0 but the other Hawk guys are all still here. As much as they've earned blame over the last 5 years, they deserve some credit since the firing, too.

but, on point, i think BC appears to have done everything right so far.
