Per ESPN: Bretty Hundley has narrowed his list to 5 programs. UCLA, Washington, Texas A&M, Oregon and Arizona

Hundley has committed to UCLA.

I bet after this weekend's awful showing by the Bruins he figured he'd be able to start as a true freshman.

I wonder how solid Hundley is now that UCLA WR Coach Reggie Moore was fired. Moore was responsible for recruiting him. Also, all the reports are that Neuheisel and Chow are going to part ways. Chow hates the pistol offense and Neuheisel made a comment a couple days ago to the effect that it was a mistake to change offenses and keep the coordinator.

As a side note, Brian Cabral has Arizona as his recruiting area and was CU's main guy recruiting Hundley.

Reports were that Hundley was going to enroll early at UCLA, so he may be off the board soon. It's worth watching, though.

That's the word. Bercovici, too. It looks like Nova might be our best chance among the guys we know about.

Hope we get him, otherwise like someone else said, recruiting momemtum takes a hit, and so much for closing the borders. I love this staff for their CU connections but the jury will be out until signing day 2012 as to whether or not they can recruit and win games. I have faith in EB, but I hope they arent overshooting this late in the recruiting season. We could wind up with a very small gap filler class.

Is UCLA keeping the pistol? That scheme doesn't seem to help anyone get into the league. Further, doesn't UCLA already have a QB coming back for the next 3 years?

Nova wants to play in the east. He's shown ZERO interest to date and has stated from the beginning he wants to play close to home (NJ).
