Adam just said that we may have up to 12 official visitors this weekend. I currently have 6 listed in the Official Visitors thread.

A recruiting Dead Period started today and goes through Thursday, so this means that the additional visits were already lined up but no one has announced them yet. Coaches can't call prospects again until Friday. (This is the last Dead Period until the days around NSD.)

Updates should be coming soon.

hmmm. now we have 5 unknowns. Gotta be a name or two we don't know about right?

fwiw, there are some hints dropped on who some of the un-named visitors may be scattered throughout this forum over the past several days.

Rep to anyone who guesses more than 1 correctly in this thread (limit of 4 guesses per person).

If it turned out that Onwuasor changed his mind and decided to take an OV here, that'd be pretty sweet.

Harrington and Kellen Jones.

I'd love to see one of the Stanford RBs (Wright or Young) visit.

Iowa Scout reports Harrington changing up visits and coming to Colorado first!!

Confirm nik!?

I was just waiting for a 2nd source before reporting Adam's premium scoop from Rivals.

Harrington will be making an Official Visit to CU this weekend. He has a CU offer and there's a good chance he will not visit Iowa. It's also pretty much certain that he would not enroll for spring if he does, in fact, commit this weekend.

The horse is dead, stop beating it...

Hey, I don't follow recruiting. He's the only one I remember. But OK, point taken. It isn't funny anymore.

I am happy to hear some good news on the recruiting front. I'll take you recruiting geek's word for it that the visitors are a good thing. I was just thinking about the weather. Looks like snow capped mountains and snow on the ground. Mid to high forties and crystal clear blue skies. Do you think that helps?

Generally, yes. It gives the University, the coaches, the players and the community an opportunity to make an impression. CU is the only school that does it, though. The rest of the teams just send refracto postcards with a Sharpie scribble "wish you were here."

It's very innovative, actually bringing prospective athletes to your campus to visit.

Can we get a big back up in here?

I think that's a great idea!

Warm Regards,

The weather is supposed to be fantastic this weekend, too. Perhaps still a little bit of snow on the ground with sunshine and temps in the low 50's.
