This is good for team Moral

"mostly unimpressive Coloroado" wtf? I would call them impressive

"This is my last go-around," Pullen said. "I'm not going to the NIT. I won't play basketball in the NIT. I'm saying that now. If we lose, and we have to go to the NIT, I will not play."

"We've just got to grow up," Pullen said.

How can you say you won't play in the NIT and then, in the next sentence, say that "we need to grow up?"

The "Mostly unimpressive" comment struck me as a bit disingenuous. I don't think the guy has bothered to look at any of the teams we've played.

Still, I think it's good that we continue to fly under the radar. We'll surprise several more Big 12 teams before this season is done.

Here's how I think we need this to play out as I breakdown the rest of the schedule.

We've got 3 sets of games to look at. There are the 1-game series against the Big 12 South teams. There are the games against the bottom 2 teams in the Big 12 North (Iowa State and Nebraska). There are the games against the Big 12 North powers (Kansas, Missouri, Kansas State).

Big 12 South games (6): OSU in Boulder/ OU in Norman/ Baylor in Waco/ Texas A&M in Boulder/ Texas Tech in Lubbock/ Texas in Boulder
Buffs need to win 4 out of these 6. Saturday versus OSU is HUGE.

Big 12 North "bottom 2" games (4): Nebraska in Lincoln/ Iowa State in Boulder/ Iowa State in Ames/ Nebraska in Boulder.
Buffs need to win 3 out of these 4. Tuesday the 18th in Lincoln is HUGE.

Big 12 North "top 3" games (2-0 with 4 remaining): Kansas in Boulder/ Missouri in Columbia/ Kansas State in Boulder/ Kansas in Lawrence
Buffs need to win 1 out of these 4. Which 1 doesn't matter.

That's my blueprint for getting to 10-6 in the Big 12, 21-10 overall, and heading into the Big 12 tourney on the right side of the NCAA tourney bubble.

Big 12 south Wins: OSU in Boulder, OU in Norman, Texas Tech in Lubbock, and Texas in Boulder with A&M in Boulder being a go ahead win

Big 12 North "Bottom 2": Iowa State in Ames seems like the hardest game listed

Big 12 North Top 3: KSU in Boulder seems to be the likly win.

When you break it down like that, it seems really doable with the way we are currently playing, but I hope no one is poping the champane yet.

"Mostly unimpressive?" Who is this Eamann Brennan? He deserves a sack of flaming dogs**t on his door step for that remark.

Watch some effing basketball, :asshole:

He is a mostly unimpressive writer for a completely unimpressive sports network...

Beating KU in Boulder will get the most attention, especially if they're still undefeated. The good thing is 5 of the 7 remaining homes games are against ranked teams.

"This one hurt, man," Pullen said. "Four years as a Wildcat, I never lost to Colorado. No disrespect to them but I just always felt that we had the better team. Losing to them tonight hurt a lot."

This quote should be bulletin board material for whenever they return the visit to Boulder...

4 years as a Wildcat?? Is that even legal?? Added to the mandatory Juco years that's got to be 6 years of college, doesn't it?

Dearest Eamann Brennan,

I would like to bring to your attention that there is a contingent of CU fans that doesn't appreciate the way you called the University of Colorado Basketball team "mostly unimpressive". I would like to respectfully notify you that you can eat a bag of dicks. If you see said bag anytime in your future, please remember this respectful suggestion.

Sincerely,

~Tractor
