sometimes it just means he or his coaches didn't send tapes to the right guys at the recruiting sites. It's easier for kids to fall into a recruiting vacuum than people realize.

After watching the video he appears to be more quick than fast. Probably a little shorter than 5' 11''. But he made some pretty acrobatic plays on the ball which included multiple INT's. He also did a great job at breaking up the pass which you don't see a lot in HS CB videos. I see him fitting in at nickleback and he looks a lot like Cha'pelle.

His maxpreps profile:

it looks like he had 5 ints his senior year which is impressive.

Apparently not committed but looks inevitable. Just checked AZ's site and the title says "Big Chance California Corner Commits to Colorado." I took "big chance" as a nickname when it should have said "There's a big chance...." Grammar mishap but either way it looks like the next commit

What do you think of his vids nik

The more I watch him, the more I like him.

He a very intelligent player. Really seems to understand the defense and what the offense is trying to do. Game film vs highlight film would tell a lot, but he seems to be in excellent position all the time. Is even able to bait the QB at times. Adequate size (taller than the 5'9" ESPN lists but not the 6'0" listed in the beginning of his videos is my guess). Has excellent timing and attacks the ball in the air. I'd like to see him work on his hands a bit. They're not bad, it's just that with the defensive positioning he gets he could get more INTs than he does. Speed may be better than people think. He plays so under control and in position that his speed doesn't always show through. (AZ reported that he ran a 10.85 100m in track - trying to verify.) He can move, though. Also, he's not afraid to tackle. He's fundamentally very strong in run support with his angles and wrapping up.

Cornerback is probably the hardest position to evaluate. But I like this kid and our coaches, who I trust, like him enough to put Bieniemy on him for the in-home visit this week.

New Scout article confirms that Henderson is visiting this weekend.

"It was a great meeting and I can't wait to take my visit this weekend," Henderson said of his meeting with Bieniemy. "I can already feel the love from the family of Buffaloes and right now I'm very interested in Colorado."

Brown's track record for finding DBs is not something that is arguable. He is the king of finding 2* guys who are good.

I believe I've said this before, but I've got a ton of respect for Scout's recruiting guru for the West (Brandon Huffman). I even follow his tweets. He loves Henderson.

Here's what he wrote about him from his scouting report on the best players from the Inland Empire:

Scout's Take: Henderson is a smidge undersized, but he's got a good nose for the ball, plays the ball well and will come up and hit you. He's good in run support and strong in pass defense. Good, smooth backpedal and sees the field well.

Also, Norco is the IE program you want the pipeline into.

Henderson in Boulder - it's a wonderful thing. Welcome to the BnG!

Welcome aboard, young man. Please remember all those Pac-12 schools that overlooked you and use that as motivation to torch them for the next few years!
