Sounds like we're getting both Parker and Asiata

If Parker follows through and does pick the Buffs, it sounds like he may be taking one of his teammates with him. One of the St. Louis coaches informed us during the combine that standout offensive lineman Pauley Asiata had decommitted from Washington and would likely sign with Colorado.

"We want to play together in college," Parker said. "We're boys and go way back. We both started at Word of Life Academy and came over to St. Louis last year after the school closed. He's like a brother to me and we've talked a lot about colleges and it looks good for both of us at Colorado.

"I know he liked Washington a lot too but I think he committed too soon, before he was ready. Now that he has thought about it some more, I think he sees what Colorado has to offer and we both plan on doing some big things at the next level together."

Could it be that Parker has delayed his public CU announcement because he and Paulay Asiata want to announce together?

Nik, if you're screwing with me I'm going to come over there and break your jaw without anesthetic.....

Would be nice... are we going to have sweat Asiata making it into school?

Shaka!
Behold the power of Cabral, Tui, and the emBurrrito!

Asiata would be one of the academic risks for this class. He probably still has some work to do to be admitted. We'll be watching this one all summer, most likely.

SICK. NESS. He must of read my post about the differences between UW and CU :smile2:.

Seriously, big assist to Juda here!

Nice to be recruiting against UW where he has those same challenges instead of KjSU

Fine by me. He is worth the risk.

Top 5 OL in the West. This is exactly the type of talent you need in the program. Worth the risk, especially since he seems to be a high character guy.

Not even these sub-zero temperatures can keep my spirits down about NSD...
I am itching to see just how good this class turns out.

you gonna change his profile to show him uncommitted or are we not sure yet...

Story has it that Parker gave the go ahead because of it being leaked for about a week now. So, imo i don't think that necessarily means that Asiata doesn't follow. At least I hope not. But, I was wondering since Nembot is also a commit to UW and now strongly considering us if this is a 3 package deal with Parker trying to persuade both Nembot and Pauley to follow suit and join The Buffs. Would love that!

Impressive work from the staff on the weekend that they visited. Its looking like we will get 8 out of 9 that weekend, and if Lucien makes the smart choice, it will be a clean sweep. Very nice.
