Stevie Joe - loves his pocket presence. Said he's not sure how he's related to Koy since Stevie Joe is so big and said that Koy probably never got to 185!:lol:
 
did you hear what he said about Paulay? paraphrasing - He smiles at you and you think he likes you then you think he might jump across the table and kill you. He has an edge.

and he keeps mentioning the schools we beat out. love that, you can see he enjoys beating other teams. No more zen BS
 
Will Oliver - I got dogpiled for signing a kicker, but I don't know what I've got in the other kickers. I've got the attention of the other kickers and we're going to play the best guy. Everyone is going to compete.

Judah Parker - got him because of Malcomb Blacken (S&C Coach). Pac 10 schools all over him. Wanted to visit Texas and Nebraska but we talked him out of it.
 
KT - Cabral didn't give up, even after he committed to Boise. Credits Cabral for flipping him. Obviously Cabral has a lot of cred in the islands.
 
That's the class as of right now. I think at the luncheon tomorrow you might see an addition or two...

I loled when he mentioned the D-Line.. Also mentioned that there "wasn't a d-lineman that they talked to that they didn't get" - Juda Parker and Nembot (assumed)??
 
I don't know if Embo would have been ready to be the HC 5 years ago, but the more I see of him, the better I feel about this hire. He seems to be a no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is kind of guy, who is also very competitive, and will leave no stone unturned to improve this team. Listening to the PC on the recruits, there were several times that he just made me smile - proud once again to be a Buff fan. I really wish I could be at the luncheon tomorrow to see him, EB, Rashaan, and Larry Scott.
 
I think Parker and Creer were the two that he was pretty sure of at that time. Maybe Willingham (if he is to be a Buff tomorrow) and Nembot (tonight). Really he can play this off one of two ways... Either these guys really were silently committed to the Buffs, or that Klatt was just hoping that we would get some last minute additions to the class. I prefer to think he knew these guys were committed. Maybe its my "Gold" shaded glasses.
