Please, let us never go back to anything resembling the Princeton offense. We need to use the altitude to our advantage. Texas was gassed at the end of the game.

Absolutely!

Prospects want to play that style, so it helps recruiting. Fans like to watch that style, so it helps attendance and tv ratings. Opponents fear that style at altitude.

I love me some Buff basketball!

was awesome to see them wilt like a steer to long from water. **** those texas AHOLES! BEST WIN!

I always wished we played a 40 minutes of hell type game at home considering altitude advantage.

The key is always playing that style but getting back on your half court defense. Nugget's play the style sometimes as well, more so without Carmelo, and they tend to get burned on defense at times, less so without Carmelo.

Hater!! Ok, I agree with u, but without him, nuggets are nowhere. Imagine if pistons picked melo and we got Darko....

I have always believed in a controlled uptempo game. At home it takes advantage of the altitude and gets the fans cranked up. On the road it throws the opponent out of their comfort zone.

Most teams and players have a speed or a pace that they are most comfortable playing, jog back on defense, find your man or your spot in the zone, take a breath and play defense. Uptempo forces teams to hurry back and get into playing defense before they are comfortable. They feel pressured and uncomfortable and may not respond as well to things that go against them.

For a school like CU that is not yet seen as a lock destination for top recruits this little bit of an advantage can make a difference in the wins and losses that will appeal to future recruits and fans

I'm in full support of the uptempo offense that the Buffs deploys under Boyle. His old team is doing pretty well in the Big Sky while football at UNC has been competitive but fell short of winning. That could be CU football as we change conferences so jumping on the basketball train seems lime a very good idea at this point.
