Big-time player. From the same high school as Devin Lucien. As mentioned in other threads, the 2012 OL class on the west coast is really good. With a the quality of OL in-state as well, no reason we cannot load up this year.

how many OL do you think the staff will take in '12?

I have absolutely no issue with taking as many as 5 OLs in the 2012 class, considering the quality of the prospects.

Guy looks mean. Too bad he is wearing a UCLA shirt

But it clearly reads that Simmons wants to go "Above & Beyond" UCLA. Since we're the Pac-12 program that's farthest away from LA and at the highest altitude, it can only mean one thing... Buff lock. :wink2:

Yeah, that's funny. Newweisals wimpy kids and this dude?

On a serious note, not too bad a player. Really big.

I'd rather have any of the 3 top OL dogs from Colorado. The in-state 2012 batch of OL are pretty damn good.

My guess is we take a full class of five.

If we can nab two of the top three in CO (Thurston, Callahan, Cozan), I will be happy. If we get all three, we will have done very well for ourselves.

Seemed to be a lock to stay in Los Angeles a few months ago, but now seems open to more schools. He likely will stay in the Pac-12 regardless.

Simmons' weight is up to 333, but he still dominated at the elite linemen challenge in Las Vegas yesterday as part of the Badger Sports event. Cal, Oregon, Miami, Washington, and USC are his top five.

Damn I would to see us mentioned by some of these monster recruits. Longs ways to go though.

Would be a pretty big coup for the staff to get us in amongst his leaders because he is a beast, a kid that would play early for us on the inside.

That wish list has change

Simmons, Cochran, Flores, Calahan, Tuerk,

C/OG- Cochran

ROT/ROG- Tuerk

ROT- Calahan

LOT- Flores

LOG- Simmons

Simmons, Callahan, Thurston, Irwin, Magnuson are on the top but really any OL we've offered so far would be great as I trust Marshall in his talent evaluation.
