"Colorado came by the school today," said Will. "I didn't go to school today, so I don't know if they are going to offer me yet."

The Buffaloes are a team that Gross admits he could develop some positive feelings for.

"They are joining a new conference and I think that is all real exciting," said Gross. "They have a good program and it's in a nice area."

The Melrose standout reports that Colorado's interest just recently materialized.

Unfortunate that he wasn't at school so that his coach could have him accidentally bump into our recruiter and they could say "Hi". But I'm glad to hear that we're formulating plans behind the handful of QBs we had previously heard about. Gross is definitely a BCS level talent.

Athletic, good arm strength, and actually seems to have nice pocket presence.

Weird highlight video though, it does not show him making many college-level throws.

Looks like he was throwing off his back foot a bit, but that is something that can be worked on. Scout seems to actually have him rated higher than some of the other kids we are in on, though I'm not sure that he has the same level of polish. In any event, he would be a nice pickup for us; hopefully we can get him out to Boulder for an unofficial.

Well, it be time to get serious about this kid and take another trip to his school. Hopefully catch him there this time.

Offer him, he has NFL arm strenght.

The question is accuracy. You watch the highlights and you come away wondering where the intermediate routes are on the highlight reel. Even the deep balls are a little wayward on a couple throws.

Munchie part duex, but without the scrambling ability?

I think he's a better pro style QB than how I had Munchie graded, but I don't think he's there with Dillon, Wilson and Miles.

What happened to Munchie? I think this kid is a bit more highly regarded, though.

Munchie went to Cincinnati, got moved to WR, had his redshirt burned for limited action, and reportedly was open to transferring so he'd get a shot at QB. I don't know if he decided to leave or not.

Chose to stay close to home and go to Memphis. Really good pickup for them, even if I think he's a bit over-rated by the services.
