He said it was academics. Tulane is a solid degree.

My wife went there (transferred to Ore). My brother graduated from there. I know another 20 alums. The consensus among them is that Tulane's best days are long gone. In fact, I can't recall meeting another group of alums more "meh" about their school.
 
Check out the video on his teammate, LaJaylin Smith. I watched it all the way through and this kid can play. I'm not sure whether he's tall enough to be a DE (looks right around 6'0"), but if he's not then I could definitely see him being a heck of a LB.

Usually, 6'0" means 5'10" but I think this kid looks 6'0". Looks like Junior Onyeali (list at 5'11", 233 pounds).

This kid is the kind of kid that just gets lost in Louisiana. Not showing any offers. Maybe a Q-risk?
