his highlight's are similar to looney lynn's. hits like a ton of bricks, gets through blockers pretty easily, tracks the ball well. looks like he's 30

It was nice of his HS to let him come back and get his diploma after his 26th birthday and doing his time. Good look for a LB.

Good pursuit angles and range. Managed to bring down a couple guys who looked like they had a step on him. Leaves his feet a little early when tackling. That can be fixed. Nice cover skills for a LB. Definitely looks like he could stay with a TE.

He looks angry. I like that. Linebackers are supposed to be angry.

He needs to come to CU. We're the home for angry linebackers.

Ugh.. I'm gonna pull my hair out. In a Rivals article today he says his top 2 are Boise State and UCLA.

Soooooo sick of seeing Boise St. I think if we can get him to take a trip we can turn the tide..

"I plan on making my decision after football season," Hooker said. "I plan on taking all of my official visits."

Besides UCLA, Hooker also has interest in Boise State, Colorado and Arizona.

"I talk to Boise the most," Hooker said. "They want me to stay at my position (OLB) and just hearing from them more, I think I'm going to take a visit there in August. I have a great relationship with Boise State.

"I haven't really talked to Colorado to often," Hooker said. "They're coach (Kanavis McGhee) came and saw me this spring and he seemed real genuine.

Hope we make Hooker a big priority of this class, he would be a really good player for us at OLB.

Rick Kimble needs to learn how to correctly transcribe an interview. Holy ****.

I had no idea JRK worked for the UCLA rivals site either.

Really hope Kanavis gets on this kid. He must like us if we're in his upper tier group of schools without even really recruiting him yet.

UCLA's the leader right now. If Ricky saves his job, they're going to be very tough to beat.

Well the positive to that is it's highly likely Ricky is gone after this year. I just don't see him turning it around this year to the point that they'd want to keep him around.

We'll have 8-10 scholarship LB's on the roster after this season and with one more already committed I don't imagine were looking for many more.

No doubt that numbers mean everything. We can definitely afford to turn away players like Hooker.

I never said we should turn anyone away. Just a general observation that at LB, unlike TE or DT for example, we have some bodies. As is the case at RB and WR we can be selective about who were targeting (hooker obviousy would make the cut).

Did you even read what he wrote?

BB gets defensive when you talk about Hooker and possibly insinuating that there isn't room for him. I'm surprised a temporary ban wasn't issued.

He was being sarcastic.

"No doubt that numbers mean everything." Meaning numbers don't mean everything.

"We can definitely afford to turn away players like Hooker." Meaning we should not be turning away highly ranked talanted players.

Hate their fans, grown fond of the team from living here the past 5 years. I graduated from Colorado, zero ties to Boise St. Just giving an honest opinion. In all of his articles he gives a one line sentence on UCLA, then gushes over Boise St. His family are all USC fans, with 2 uncles playing for the Trojans. Boise St has taken mutliple Cali kids over the last 2 years that had UCLA offers.

Very well. After all, if we can't renegotiate, we wither and die...
