EB really seems to be on the lookout for a fast do a little bit of everything type of back. This guy certainly has pretty amazing short area quickness, but also has really good straight line speed.

Committed to Ole Miss.

I wish that Arkansas fan who was posting here during the Houston Nutt to CU rumors would come back and comment on this. I thoroughly enjoyed his rants against Nutt.

No surprise that he went SEC, but I am a little surprised that the Vols never offered. They usually try pretty hard to lock down their borders.

Tennessee has traditionally been very hit or miss as far as landing Memphis players. Alabama and Ole Miss have both been able to pull some top players out of the area because they are actually closer to Memphis than Knoxville. Ole Miss is only about 90 minutes away. When Ed Orgeron took over at Ole Miss, one of his missions was to own Memphis and to consider it as a part of Mississippi.

Good info.

No offer is what surprised me.

When Tennessee has had great teams, it's been when they've gotten the best in-state players while winning recruiting battles in Georgia. With the NCAA investigating along with the mediocre on-field product and coaching changes in recent years, we may be looking at that program significantly falling off.
