Plays a lot like his teammate. They look like really good 3-4 DEs to me. If we rock the 4-3, they need some work on their pass rush skills imo.

Attended the CU Big Man Camp.

"Colorado is a very good program," he said. "I talked to their offensive coordinator [and running backs coach], Coach [Eric] Bieniemy, and he is a cool guy. He is originally from New Orleans so he understands what kids down here are going through. And their defensive ends coach, Coach [Kanavis] McGhee, is real good. He played at Colorado and with Lawrence Taylor in the NFL so he has a lot of knowledge of how to be good at the college level and also in the pros."

He is planning on making a decision on August 1st. http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1239190

AZ wrote over at Netbuffs that Gibson doesen't even have a CU offer. Who to believe....?

AZ's probably right on this if. He usually is when he tries to play 'gotcha'. In chat, he said that Gibson has received letters from us and that the speculation that Gibson could be close to committing is not accurate. That he does not have an offer that he could commit to and the reported offer is overstated.

If he did camp with us, and we are still slow playing him, sounds like we are considering him a plan b or c at this point.

Assuming AZ is right, why would players lie about who had offered them? He said that Flores didn't have CU offer either. I assume what their saying in interviews gets back to the staff and im sure their dishonesty would only hurt our impression of them and decreace the likelihood we would offer.

Not overly disappointed if we don't get him. He came to our camp and we still haven't offered so that really says something. AZ says they like him, they just like a lot of other guys more, so gotta go with the staff here.

they are kids used to getting lots of attention and dominating. Plus, they are literally trying to sell themselves. Nothing new about overstating the offer.

Finally rated on Rivals (3*) and picked up a North Carolina offer.

He doesn't seem like the prototypical 3-4 OLB/DE, maybe the reason for our lack of recent interest
