2012 Recruit Profile Index

Our current list of Spring Game visitors totals 21 guys. AZ says he has a list of 44 that he'll post tonight. His does include some 2011 commits while ours didn't, but that's only a handful of guys. We'll have a lot of new names to talk about tomorrow night.

247 mentioning a Thomas Singleton from Cherokee Trail in Aurora. Option QB in high school, but projects as a CB in college; a bit undersized at 5'9, but apparently acquitted himself very well at the Elite 11 Regional camp at Stanford this past weekend.

Yeah. I read that. Sounds like a guy who could develop into a nice player at the BCS level. I've got him in the CO Prep Recruiting index since there's been no indication that CU is recruiting him hard. Here's his AllBuffs profile: http://www.allbuffs.com/showthread.php/60738-12-CO-ATH-Thomas-Singleton

Finally done. All of the Profiles are now indexed in Table format. All ratings have been updated for all prospects.

This also made it possible to kill the separate CO Prep Index and get rid of a pinned thread in this forum.

I think it's a lot better and it's easier on the mods. Hope you like it.

I liked the old format better, can you change it back? :smile2:

Question: Why don't you just link the profile to the name and save a column?

Because I wanted to draw attention to the fact we work our asses off creating profiles & have people go to them and use the profiles for posting about the prospect instead of the Index.

Didn't really take much extra time and it fit within the framing, so it wasn't a big deal to do.

I think we are having a generation gap here. I would see the hyperlink and automatically assume its to a profile or some other type of information.

However, fair reasoning. And don't worry Nik, we value your hard work. :smile2:

Haha. I was thinking in terms of noobs with this, too. Sometimes things seem simple because we've been on here so long. Someone showing up for the first time probably would know that the underline meant a link, but wouldn't necessarily know that it took you to an AllBuffs profile.

Thanks, man.

np. I mean, only way to combine all the needs in one box (har har) would be like this:
Name/ProfileExtra Box (like nik's mom)
Recruit NameThree way Picture

and that really doesn't help all that much.

We've got our first Official Visit scheduled. Per Rivals, Washington safety Ma'ne Manaea will be visiting for the Oregon game (10/21).

Hey Nik,

Since I have nothing to do with my friday nights I saw that Cuatthegame was reporting that Solis has scheduled an OV for the Cal game.

Indeed, he did. (I forgot to report it. Oops. :smile2:). I'll make the update before I go to bed.

I added Jeromy Irwin and Sean Irwin to the Official Visit list (scheduled for 9/30). Nick Davidson (OT), Ishmael Adams (CB), Reshawn Hooker (LB) and Wes Brown (RB) have all recently said they will be making OVs to Colorado, but haven't set dates.

Bring on the Irwi! Woot!

Has anyone heard anything about Nick Downing? He's a big safety from Grandview. 6' 1", 205. Got a letter from the Buffs recently.

Thanks for the info. I'll work on a profile.

He was an undersized linebacker last year, Nik, and has been moved to his more natural safety position. Very aggressive and a Buff through and through.

Updated the official visitors list with three known visitors for this week (Rivals confirmed on Coprich today).

Interesting, buffscoop is reporting some entirely different visitors. It was posted today so I won't say who, but it'll be interesting to see ends up being correct.

Nah, AZ was out in front and correct, just forgot to update. Both Rivals and Scout seem to be corroborating the original buffscoop posting of four visitors: Austin Ray, Kory Rasmussen, Shane Brostek, and Kisima Jagne.

Ahh.

I would love to get a couple of those to commit. Not overly upset that we aren't going all in on King and Coprich..

Actually a pretty decent group of visitors. We might be able to get Rasmussen to commit. We should be able to put ourselves in good position with Ray and Jagne as well. It will take a lot to keep Brostek away from U-Dub.

Yeah I'm hoping for Rasmussen + Ray or Jagne. Got to like that Brostek hasn't committed to UW yet, though.

Also, didn't want to act like I hate King or Coprich as prospects, I just think we could hold off on them and let them visit later in the cycle if we still need a guard or corner.

Check out post #1 in this thread with the updated visitor's list. This is a monster recruiting weekend for CU.
