Season Ticket Renewal Arrived

I received my renewal notice in the mail after arriving home from the overtime loss to Cal. The athletic department lowered the ticket price by $125/ticket ($375 to $250) but added a mandatory contribution of $200/ticket. The letter that came with the renewal indicated that the donation would be used for men's baskteball and seemed to indicate that there may be some pregame benefits that go with it. Overall increase is 20% for the upcoming year. Ticket prices were the same for the last three years.

actually got two of them. One was for $0 and the other was $150 a seat, down from $255 no donation.

Mine arrived opened. I'm going to call the ticket office tomorrow and see about up-grading my seats and possibly buying another ticket.... just in case my mailman want to go to the games with me.

Yea, I got mine as well, but it shows the exact same thing that I have been paying for the past 3 years. I would like to upgrade my seats or add seats, but I have tried that for a few years now, and there isnt much better stuff out there, and to add seats it pushes me back about 10 rows.

Well it looks like most of you had good experiences with ticket renewals...not so over here.

My parents got their ticket renewal in the mail and it said for this year it will be the same price ($200 a seat...2 seats) But with a note that prices will go up next year and a mandatory donation (kinda defeats the purpose of a donation) Anyways my mom calls just to see what the prices will be for next year.

The student employee says that they will be $300 each for the seat and then goes and finds out that the donation will be $200 a seat. And says she really doesnt know what the "new benefits" of that will be. So my mom says "This year were paying a total of $400 and next year it's $1000?" Then she just asked to speak to the ticket manager to ask why and what the new "donation" benefits would be.

She asked "Why are the prices going up 150% in one year?" and he responded with exactly "Fine ma'am then don't renew your tickets," and that was it.

Not exactly how you treat loyal season ticket holders of 25 YEARS!

That is total FAIL!

E-mail this to Mike Bohn with contact information, and I'd wager that your parents will get a phone call from him to smooth things over.

want to bump this. Only a few days left to renew. I did online this morning and it took about 3 minutes. If you are on the fence, the club room is moving from the dungeon to one of the practice facility courts, so there should be a TON of room (and hopefully a ton of tv's) to grab a beer before the game starts and during half-time.

Just a reminder to all, today is the football season ticket renewal deadline.
