We all were impressed with Coach Boyle and his staff last year watching them do their thing, but just to show you how impressive of a job they're doing, Josh Gershon just tweeted the following:

In the history of Scout.com recruiting rankings, Colorado has yet to sign a single Scout.com top 100 prospect. The Buffs now have 2 in 2012.

Great job by Coach Boyle.

Great job by Coach T.

Great job by Coach Pri.

Great job by Coach Rohn.

And great job by EVERYONE in the CU Basketball staff. They are KILLING IT right now.

O'Boyle rules. Thank God we hired him and not McClain. Let's hope he keeps it up

Amazing what a new coach can do when left with some good pieces for his first year. Thank you Alec, Cory, Levi and the others

Fantastic job, these guys have earned their 2011-12 paycheck without stepping foot on the court. And don't forget to bless that new practice facility.

Just frickin giddy right now...

Great Job by the coaching staff.

On a side note, Chauncy wasn't top 100 player?

Eric Bossi of Rivals is praising CU pretty hard right now:

Have not been able to get Xavier Johnson on the line yet, but more than 1 source has confirmed he verbaled to Tad Boyle of Colorado tonight.

That's two four-star guys for Colorado along with a couple of three-stars in their 2012 class. Pretty good work by Boyle and crew.

Not sure people nationally realize yet how good Josh Scott could end up being. He outplayed some much more touted bigs head to head.

Johnson is a southpaw with some athleticism and nice inside/out game. When he comes to play, he can be outstanding.

Jenkins and Gordon (the two three stars) are both solid role guys who can be brought along. Next, Buffs need a backcourt playmaker.

I couldn't resist, so I asked him if he thought Wallace could be that playmaker.

Yes. Wallace would be an outstanding finish to class. Would be third top 100 guy. Cal and Oregon in there deep as well.

being good on the hardwood will make being a CU fan right now so much easier! So pumped!

I don't think Scout ranking were around then. Chaunc was definitely a top 100 player. Scout ranking were around though when Harrison was a senior, so I think Gershon is wrong on that end....I believe Jose Winston was actually a top 100 player too, and Pelle was on the fringe. I'm not sure if Scout was around for Jose though...

Didn't realize Scout was so new or perhaps I'm just an old man now.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Scout was formed around 2001 or 2002 with the whole split from Rivals.

I don't believe that's right. I was looking at scout back in 2001, and I just did a google search on both scout and rivals. Apparently rivals was formed in 2001, and I can't find anything about scout's history.

Rivals was around before 2001. I worked for them in 1999 & 2000.

Question. I may have missed the relevant thread, but basketball season ticket renewals are available?

Yes. Supposedly the deadline was a week ago, but when I called to get mine they said they were giving people a week or two of grace period to get them in.

It took me four months to convince them to take my money for a deposit. I'm still waiting to hear prices for this year.

I finally just sent Gershon a message over Twitter asking about Harrison. His response:

Nope Scout didn't have him ranked at all: http://bit.ly/nYgOja

I hope the prices don't change much because I want to upgrade my seat, but don't want it to kill. I gotta buy a trip to Eugene next year.

I'm no mathematician, but looking over some things right now, I think we're pretty much a lock for a top 20 class. If we land Wallace...

Might as well throw this here. Greshon responded to a few other messages I sent. First one mentioned AllBuffs and he responded:

Just checked out the site... nice to see the CU fans so happy... Tad and staff are doing a great job

He then followed it up with:

Congrats, definitely enjoy it, but I think they're gonna keep recruiting at a high level

Boyle and his entire staff deserve a ton of credit!

If you build it, they will come! Let's do this same thing for football!!!!
