Rivals - John Walker

"He's got one more offer from Indiana along with Northwestern," H.D. Woodson assistant coach Wayne Johnson said. "We're waiting on one other team, Colorado. They haven't offered, but they are getting ready to.

"He's trying to take his first trip to Colorado soon, sometime in October."

I like what Embree is doing in D.C. Hopefully this is a good find for us. I will hold out judgement for now.

Hmm, John Walker, from DC, could be a key guy. Gotta watch out for an exhorbitant lifestyle, though.

Sherrard Harrington is doing work for us in the DC area.

Crawley, Wilson, Walker, etc. I really hope we can get a pipeline to HD Woodson going.

on the same night a certain Cali CB with an inhome visit doesn't commit, we offer Walker. Coincidence? maybe...

seems to have a good eye for diagnosing the play before the snap, and as mentioned likes to hit. He stands out to me on a team full of players we are recruiting. That says only good things about him. Would love to have him on board.

One thing though. That high school seems like its a mini oregon. So many different uni's.

btw, this was Walker's first year as a DB. He'd been a QB at the Maryland HS he transferred in from.

That would explain the lack of ratings from the services. Hmm our coaches evaluating talent at a high level again?? I could care less about stars if the kid can play.

Programs are quickly learning about Walker. I'm glad the KU visit is the week before he comes to Boulder instead of the week after. Weis has never done a thing at the college level that was worth putting on a resume, but he's still got a big enough name from riding Tom Brady's and Bill Belichick's coattails to make people take notice.

Welcome to the BnG Walker! Looking forward to seeing you patrol the secondary.

I hope this bodes well for the other three from his HS. There have been reports on this board that they all want to play together. Could Crawley be next?
