UCLA 3, Colorado 1

And it was on the road against the #6 team. Improving.

Absolutely. Need to do better, but it's building. I actually think that right now we'd be a middle of the road team in the Big 12.

Volleyball is my third favorite sort to watch behind fb and bb. I hope the new facilities can get us up to speed soon. Wish ere was a bigger professional following too

I agree. On both the need to do better and on the idea that this team would be around the middle of the Big 12. Thats in large part because of the top to bottom strength in the PAC12 and lack of strength after the top few teams in the Big 12. But also partly due to the fact that CU was used to playing the Wed/Sat schedule of the Big 12 and has had to adjust to the Fri/Sat schedule of the PAC12. And partly due to the greater familiarity of CU staff and players with the Big 12 teams.

Assuming the players who have verballed all sign this fall or next spring, the VB team wil get a big boost in talent for next season. I'm sure the new facilities played a part. As did the move to the PAC. As did the ground work coaches have done in their first 2 years here.
