Cali High Sports: #15 2012 Prospect (early ratings - Dec'10)

ByronMarshall_display_image.jpg

Marshall is one of the most impressive physical specimens on the West Coast. At 5'10 he packs on 190 pounds of muscle and while his height is a little on the shorter side he is big enough and physical enough to play smash mouth football. Byron is an aggressive runner who barrels over any blocker in his path. However despite his bulky frame, Marshall is one of the fastest players in any position at California, with a 4.38 40 yard dash. His combination of size and speed helps him keep defenses off balance as he can run it between the tackles or bounce it outside and turn the corner.

Scout's Brandon Huffman calls Marshall the West's Top Back for 2012:

Says that the Bay area schools are recruiting him the hardest and that he has an older brother who plays for Arizona State. But Colorado is among the programs that are now recruiting him in addition to his offer list.

http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1046998.html

In the article, he says he prefers running out of a shotgun spread single back formation, which pretty much isn't the case at any of his early favorites (or CU). This one bears watching. We want him. And if we don't get him, we want to keep an eye on who does. This kid is a potential game changer.

Is this still a kid we are targeting, or has he pretty much let us know that he lacks interest in us?

A Nice pick up for my Ducks now hopefully they can get 1 more RB in this class or maybe save the spot for next years class which appears to be deeper at RB.

Last I checked this is a recruiting board so on a recruiting board I can post my opinion about recruits! I know what an amazing thought!

Almost right. This is a Buff recruiting forum on a Buff board, a place for discussion, but not a place for you to just pump the ducks. But when you go full troll (please don't, we like you in general), we can just ignore you, like we have so many nubs.

I know this is a Colorado recruiting board, but I figured what was happening at other Pac-12 schools might interest you.... I will lay off.

CD did nothing wrong. People be tripping. Stop ****ing with a recruit thread, even if the recruit apparently has terrible fashion sense.

CD isn't even close to trolling, and the perspective isn't bad. He contributes, positively to this board. Have at it CD!

No recruit thread is complete without the sage words of DBT.

FWIW, I didn't call CD a troll - yet. But if pumping your school here (which CD has done to a small degree) isn't trolling, then please define it for me. I was just asking him to chill a bit on those kinds of posts. I too like information... And Darth :)wtf:) - at least I'm not cursing in a recruit thread. :smile2:

You may call me snow. And **** not ****ing swearing. The stars exist for a reason. Also, you were being hypersensitive. Premature, even. Chill out, switch positions, before you bust a nut and CD is disappointed in you.

Dude CD is fine here. He was not being a dick or troll like at all. In fact I expected a much more enthusiastic post than what he did post.

Visited Cal during their big recruitment weekend, but is still 100% solid to Oregon.
BTW, CD where in Canada are you based? I am a Vancouver based-CU alum. If you are in BC maybe we could get together and grab beers to discuss who has the better mascot (we win that one but we win that against everyone); who has the better cheerleaders (tough call), better team (well-that's obvious now but maybe not in a few years); better weather...

not even close on the cheerleaders. Cu has hotter women, Oregon has hotter cheerleaders.

:wow:

If you are talking about the additional heat provided by layers of fat around the midsection, perhaps CU does have hotter cheerleaders.
:wtf:I was within feet of the cheer team this past weekend and you have no idea what you are talking about. They aren't models nor are they overweight, however, they are very athletic.

I spend a hell of a lot of time in Vancouver, but I am currently back in Oregon. I will be in Vancouver right around Christmas I think, but I am never 100% sure because I need to figure out where my family wants to meet lol.

P.S. Oregon has hotter cheerleaders and it is not even close! Go visit my cheerleading thread if you need proof!
